  1. Cheers Brad. :y: We don't have a time frame of completion of this beast yet, but it should be around Christmas time, or sometime Next Year. _________________________ More of Today's Progress !! We got the Grille all Painted up and Installed. We also fitted in the Tailights, the Back Bumper :), the "COROLLA" Tailgate Insert (Yes, a Factory Item  ), the Boot Lock, the 1/4 Plastics, the Fuel Filler Dress Ring, the Radio Aerial, the Front Guard Indicators, and we Polished up the Headlights and the Surrounds. :D We also did a MASS clean up of the interior, and the amount of stuff that came out, you wouldn't have believed it fit in the car. So now I can actually have a Passenger ride along, with foot-space. :) After emptying out, we neatly stacked it all back into the Rear, and I put all the small Important Pieces (Door Handles, Console Bracket, Spare Wheel Nuts) in the Glovebox. The Pics will say it all. Pics 1 + 2 are BEFORE the Rear Bumper was fitted: Woz & Josh

  7. This looks really neat Brad. I really like the KE70 Flares too. Incase I've missed it, and if you do, what colour are you going to respray it? Any Powerhouse Ideas? :hmm: Josh
  8. There's an Australian Short Film called "Yoke", and towards the last 10 minutes, they hop in a KE70/AE71 Beige Hi-Roof Wagon, drive down to the library, and on her way, she's driving and slots it into 5th, they get to the library, the kid drops something off, she jumps back in, and drives off, and that's the end. It was a minter too. Makes me think someone on here has or had it. :hmm: I saw it watching "SOS" (a series of award winning short films - on sat'day nights) on SBS One. :) Josh

  14. Yeah. :lolcry: Who needs Lowering Blocks at the Diff? Why not throw a "K-Engine Block" in the Boot? :D But really, it did look good lowered at least 1/2". :)
  15. there is a place in melbourne called SCOTTS RUBBER try them
  16. Ok asked my Poppa and he said it might be a Corona not Corolla and he sent me this link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_Corolla some good info here Josh
  17. Thanks, and No Probs Stu. Jake said he's just gonna keep it in the boot of his KE55 'till you pick it up. :) Josh
  18. Update. Bought some P600 Wet and Dry Sandpaper this week to rub her back, and also some other stuff. :) So, got them out, grabbed the Soap a Sponge, and a Bucket of Warm Water, and did some rubbing back. Today's Work: Soap, Water and Sandpaper. Hosed down. Shammy-ed dry. Now she's already for the Painter on ANZAC Day. :) Woz & Josh
  19. Wpn36 has just answered practically everything here. :) A standard 4AGZE on 12psi Boost (factory) makes more power than the RB20DE. Both from the flywheel and freshly built, and after years of Wear and Tear, it's still gonna be the same figures. So, really, an SR20DE with (Quote from Wpn36): "2.2 stroker, gtir intake, and s15 6 speed" - which I bet will FLY, or the Beams 3SGE, are better options. IMO (in my opinion), the RB20DE does sound a little bonkers for a KE20. If it's for Drag/Track purposes, then awesome. Go for it. If it's just for fun and giggles, an RB30 Block with RB25 stuff and a VL T3/T4 Turbo is a more better idea. :) Josh
  20. ^^^^^ And the Thermostat Housing and the Water Pump. You will need to change those items from your 3K onto the 4K. We had this problem with mine on Ollie dropping in a KE70 4K. Everything else is fine, and absolutely dead easy. ;) Josh
  21. I'll have to ask my Poppa on this one, knowing his KE1x's very well (has owned a KE12 4-Door and a KE13). :hmm:
  22. Looks really cool mate. ;) Really, just paint the rust repairs, throw on a Mesh Visor, add some Whitewalls, maybe Hubcaps (can help if 13") and you have yourself an awesome cruiser. :) Josh
  23. The 7K came out in the KR42R Townace Van - 1998-2004. Some came with Carby's, some with EFI. They're a pretty Torquey motor too, so the power you're looking for will be there. The 5K is also a pretty good answer. If you work it, you'll be impressed with the result. If it's not enough power, you can always just strap on an SC12/14 Supercharger on 5-6psi - as well with the 7K(-E). :) Josh
  24. Wow! Loving all of it. :) Is it all engineered, or is it for cars this old, you can do whatever to it? There's a guy on here from California, with a '73 KE26 Wagon converted to 4AGE and didn't need to go through the engineers because it was a Pre-1975 Model car. All the best. Josh
  25. A 7K-E will do the job. Maybe even strap on an SC12/14 on 6psi. :) Josh
