  2. Well it's quarter-past 11pm, and i'm absolutely rooted, and Josh is totally stuffed! We're all supporting cuts, bruises, and sore parts. What a day it's been. I would have been happy with just gettin the paint in the engine bay! But as per normal, i just could not stop. :lolcry: Here is some more pics for ya's. Enjoy. :) Engine and Gearbox hooked up ready to go in. Sitting on the Engine Mounts. Josh and I working out the Alternator. Carby Inlet Manifold, and Pacemaker Extractors Silconed (Gooed) and Bolted on to the Block. We're LIVE !!! Josh's Ke36 Panelvan Project. :) Tomorrow we're gonna finish off the engine bay, and put back in the radiator, thermo-fan housing, and radiator support panel. It is definitely now scheduled that the actual painting stage will be over easter. Josh is excited that he now has an engine that runs like shit out of shanghai, starts 1st shot, and absolutely flogs. All it needs now is a weber. He's bustin my nads for one already! :lolcry: Woz & Josh
  3. SATURDAY ARVO. The Painting Stage begins..... In the Engine Bay. :) Engine Bay unplugged of Looms and Earth and Other Wires, and Covered them up, as well as the Extractors, The K40 4-Speed Gearbox after taking it down to the Car Wash, Degreasing it, and Jam-Job Paint. :) The Painting Begins. The Chief Painter. :D Refill Time. The Finished Product. :D :D :D Even Dad's impressed with the Jam-Job. :) There will be another update tonight. Just waiting for the Paint to dry. :y: Woz & Josh

Broken Engine Mount. :o Jacked back down, ready for what happens next. Engine and Gearbox un-hooked ready to come out. The Engine and 'Box out! An Engineless Engine Bay! SATURDAY MORNING. 8. I don't know Tally. Dad rang me that day and told me to put it up on here for others. The guy told my dad that it was a Ke20/25 coupe. That's it. Josh
  9. Which Pinch-a-Part?
  10. Looking awesome mate. :y:
  11. Gonna be ripping out my Loud Misfiring 2-Cylinder 4K, and putting in my Fresh and Painted 4K this Saturday for Ollie. :)
  12. I thought Pinch-a-Part was 15 under Parent Supervison. 'Spose they could get me in as 16. I'm not even sure we're going yet. :)
  13. Hey guys, Did some more progress today. We unbolted the Auto off the New 4K so we could have it ready to go into Ollie. I rang up my Uncle Chris, and he came 'round and his Mate to help us put the 4K into the garage, so we could swap over the engines, which didn't happen today. We put the 4K on our Engine Crane, took a good look at it, and Dad suggested we take it apart and paint it up ready to go. So we did. We took off the Emission-Filled Carby, Intake and Exhaust Manifold, the Alternator, Water Pump, Fuel Pump, Oil Filter, the Dizzy and the Plugs. We then Degreased the Engine, and scrubbed off the Oil and Grease with soapy water. We then started the painting. Dad unbolted the Alternator into Pieces to inspect the condition of it, which is a Reco one, then we grabbed out the Spray Cans, and started painting it, as well as the engine, and other parts. In our opinion, it looks pretty spiffy. :) We got pics of the before, and after for ya's all to see. :) Got Ollie to the garage and the Engine on the Crane. Took off the parts and degreased the block so we can paint it. Halfway through the Painting stage. The Engine put together after Painting. And Josh snapped some Pics of the 3 Rolla's, and the 2 Ke36's. Enjoy. Woz & Josh
  14. hey ryan have you tried advertising this on the SA ute club site ?? would proberly get snapped up straight away cheers woz
  15. Sounds awesome, except for the age side of things. I could go, but I'll just be watching. :)
  16. From what I remember, Mungi Mods threw in a KE30 Diff for the 4x114.3 PCD. Looking really awesome mate. Top job. :y: Josh
  17. Looking awesome mate. Top job. Josh
  18. Well done mate. :y: Plans for this sound absolutely insane! Someone's actually fitted a 308 into one of these without modifying the Firewall or Radiator Support, but it was a tight fit - but, as usual, he did have to cut open the Trans tunnel to fit in the Trimatic. :) You could probably go with a Ratrod style for this thing if it's only gonna be used for the Skidpans. Flat Black, Black and Red Stockies with Whitewalls, Peep Mirrors, Venetians, Nanna-Visor, and last but not least, Slam! This is gonna be insane when it's finished. All the best with it. ;) Josh
  19. We could always have a muck-around fun day at Funfields in Whittlesea. Very slow and controlled Go-karts, Mini-Golf for the slow and steady, and Toboggans that absolutely hammer down the hill (if you get a good one). :D
  20. You've gotta record a 0-100km/h vid of this. From what I'm reading, it's an animal!
  21. Thanks Chris. :y: It'll be sometime before we finish it, and I get to drive it on the road. I get my Learners in July this year, and I'll probably be getting 'round in Dad's Smurf if he doesn't boost it. :D Thanks Nobs. I might be going for that setup for Ollie, but I just looked under The Smurf's bonnet, and I have a pretty cool setup in mind. :jamie: Josh
  22. I try and snap a photo for ya next time I see it. :) I'm sure it was an Auto. Dad knew it was, because IGA is just after a Roundabout, and heard the car brake, and knew straight away it was an Auto.
  23. Haha. Thanks Vince. Unless we can hire a good painter for a price, Dad will be the Chief. :) Dad's now got a new project, so his will see the road before mine does. :D Josh
  24. This is looking really awesome mate.
  25. Saw that Red AE71 Spirit again in Sunbury with 2 chicks in it. She drove past us walkin' across to IGA. It's got an auto in it, and sound like a dream. :)
