Hey all Well, this time i've actually got a good idea; but thats the problem. My idea may be crap, but heres an example to try and make some sense to what i'm saying. Lets say in invented the Wheel. I Propose my plans, and someone heres the idea, takes it and sells the idea and makes the profit from you - well, this may sound weird, but do u get the drift? - if I give an idea out, how do I 'protect' that that idea wont be used or whatever elsewhere - i'm not going to spit out and tell my idea, because its got some work to be done on it, and so on, so forth. But what i will say is this. I have invented (well, getting there) a car that doesnt use a gear box, no gears, but still can get upto speed, and can rev at any RPM, and would flog the hell outa any tip-speck-what_eva_the_hell_name-auto gear box / manual on the market. Sounds weird doesnt it? - oh another thing. I spose it could be called a gearbox, but i'll refer to it as the "transfer case" which makes all of this happen (my invention) would be no more than the size of slimline dvd player. nar, I'm not smoking anything, or drinking unknown substances, all i want to know is how can u protect your idea from being nicked. Hey all Well, as the topic says, I'm intrested in this Cams Lisence that every 1 talks about. I kno there is snips of info about cams lisences all thoughout the rolla club forums, but frainkly my internet is too slow to cope wirth searching, and i think it would be good if it could be explained in here 4 all the nebies intreseted in it as well. I think i basicaly asked the Question, but ill be more percific. The Cams Lisence... How old do u have to be What previous driving skills / lisences do u require / compolosry What are the different (if any) classes of Cams Lisences How Much does it Cost Where do you Learn the rules for this Cams lisence, and what do u have to learn Can any 1 go for the liesence? anthing else which is good to know / hints / tips etc Thanks for the help every 1. Hello All You are probernbly wondering what is this bloke on this time - yeah, the air con idea caused some talk, but ive got another idea (s). :D Lets see. The 4kc Engine is a good engine, with some mods, it could possibly make some serious peformance (take nicks 4 example - its not completly suped up, but its sure 1 hell of a ride). I was thinking of moving a 4kc engine in the engine bay so its upright, (the are actually on an angle) and move it to the right as far as possible, and then go and get anotther 4kc motor, and squeez it in beside it ! ! ! Now, some complicaiotns - u connect the engines like in a gokart - or like on the belts at the front of the engine - 2 cogs at the back of the fly wheel - (1 engine would have to turn other way to make it run the other way - over come by a nother cog or soimting) and 1 cog at the fly wheel - if u get my drift - heres a pic i prepaired earlier..hehehe O O O - the top 2 - the engine outputs, and the bottom 1 - to the geare box... back.(not as low tho.) - and the pic may not be as accurate Another issue - they would have to be really well squezed in - this is why the air filter (about carbie) will be razed and will poke though top of bonet - 2 pokind up wirth a little sheild above it - garinteted to look mean :) there would have 2 be 2 radiators - have 2 be moved foward, 1 3/4 sized on the top, and 1 on the bottom .. again - here is a pic i prepaired earlier hhehehe |------------------------ | | Radiator on top | | | |------------------------ | |------------------------ | | Radiator on botom | | | |------------------------ | ( it looked better in the editing screen lol) This would be about 4 cm foward than normal - can fit more in sideways that way :D Remeber, the engines would be re-built, tuned, bored, etc. Would Run 2 2 1/3 exhaust's on either side of body unda neath - 1 for each engine, having a 3 1/2 inch muffler at the end - all for the sound and looks lol. (dreeming again hehe) The accelrator cables would have to be put into the same, and all those little details. Now becuse front will be heaver, the rear will have another fuel tank, this time in bottom of boot (above normal fuel tank unda boot) - Connected up like the sub tank in a landcruzer is - pull a plug and it goes into 1 tank, push it and the fuel goes into another. All the gauges inside would have to be accomidated / customed for 2 engines, the emition stuf... well... lets just say id only keep wats nessary, and ditch the space taking up elements. Stonger shock adsorbers and springs all round, lowered, fatter wheels, power stering would have to be put in - a tad heaver now. Just think, insted of having "TWIN CAM 16" on the side, u could have "straight 8, 16 VALVE" Lets see what issues this will raize in the communcity - on and ive lernt somting from these wird ideas from mine - they are not nessarally realistic, or even possible, so please don't get angry / upset / mad to what i say seriously, its just for the hell of it, and just maybee i might learn somting :D - remeber, its fun! :) Teddy (who will be first to find a fault in my 2x4kc revolution ;-))

Hey Every one!! Well, I'm back after a much needed 1 week break down on the goald coast. I thought i would bore yous 2 gether with some highlights of my trip :D We (my family) stayed in a unit on the water front. i had a bedroom which faced and gave me a birds eye view the main road which runs through burley heads. Each night there were drags off the lights, and it was alwyas amusing. 1 time in particular, a suburo liberty turbo sped off from the lights, doing a nice skid, and get this - an under cover cop was right beside him! - so after a obout 50 M of wreckless driving, and swerving between 2 lanes, the coppa pulled him off the road :D :) and all the rest that goes along with it! :) another highlight was the amount of 1.6 L Corollas on the gold coast - its quiet funny really - i saw a few 1.3's, and HEAPS of 1.6's - i can't explain this 1..! We went 4 a day trip to the mountains (nere the heinz dam area), all the way up 2 the top, and it was about 1100 M high, that the road was covered in so much fog / mist / CLOUD / that u couldnt see past about 20 m in front - it was spooky! - about the heinz dam cruze some time, i took some pics of there which ill upload when we get broad band (next week :D) - they are shots of the parking spaces, possible bbq areas etc - just try and organize the trip a little easier - what eva happens! What else...oh oh on another post i talked breifly about a truck which was on the side of the road, all tyres and rims nickd, held up by ye good old bricks, and the front was pretty totaled (well, on the other side of the road was a light poll that had been knocked down... 1 other thing! - this is 2 Nick & Xany - i saw a deep midnight red ke70e corolla whih a someintg like a 3 1/2 / 4 inch muffler, and LOW profile wheels, and it had been lowered with dark black tint - and i thought nicks was a loud rolla - WOW - oh and not to mention the stero system it had... Xany, look out for this guy...! Any way ive wafeled on enough, and some good news 4 u's (and me) who have been following my new which rolla's progress - if all goes well, my car should be on the road and regestered (yes, its had to believe its finally happening) by 2 morrow lol !(13 jan) !!! hey all - I'm back from holidays! I'm having trouble uploading a pic i took on holidays - this might sound like its off the topic, but don't panic or get angry just yet - ive got a pic which i took of an old red datsun ute on the side of the road, smashed in front, on bricks with no wheels - when ive got more time 2 night, ill upload it. Well, its now January, Any 1 had any more ideas about this topic? How do we usually get up there - is it like the start of a bbq? Every 1 meats at 1 point (eg. Caltex @ Carseldine) and we all drive up ...? p.s - nick, oh id like all wheel drive karts as well :ninja:

Well, Ive got 2 cars. They arew both Ke70 Corollas - 1. Blue Ke70, 1983 - newer edition 2. White Ke70 1983 - older edition My internet is ova the limit, so i can't upload anything at this point - will do when internet resets!
