yeah, the 3.8L E34 was never officially released in AU... But I imagine there is a handful of them kicking around here privately imported by enthusiasts. Rolla 4, they re-released the SS wagon recently in the VX or VY lineage... The slogan was "Braggin' Wagon"... I immediately though 'Ha ha ha... another f@$kin crummy-dore!! Nothing quite as drastic... But I have lost my 3rd Speco chrome air filter!!! Thought the Rolla was making a pretty mean sucking noise at partial throttle, then when I looked, it had no filter on!! This is starting to get expensive... Locktite time I think!!

You'll NEVER be competitive in a car that doesn't go around corners... Unless you are a drag racer!! Make it stop hard, and turn hard, BEFORE you make it go hard!! I once did a motorkhana in the my stock engined, but stiff suspensioned KE30... Was 3rd in class to a Mini Special (basically a mini without a body), and an genuine Elfin Clubman, in a class of 6 cars, and 7th outright in a field of 25. Field included 2 Evos and a 400BHP Commodore, and Targa Cars. My .02c

Wow... Thats not bad!! I just got a quote from BMW of $1385 (without labour... just the part itself) for SPARK PLUG LEADS!!! :D Luckily an aftermarket alternative is available... $350. Bargain!! :) $550 sounds nasty, but thats genuine parts, installed by a factory dealership... Can't get better than that. Money well spent me thinks. :D PS I love the turbo sportivos... were still a bit expensive when I was looking for a car. They'd be a good bit of fun I reckon :D Have fun & good luck Lesley :)

The reason I love them is that you immedaitely 'expect' to have your arse handed to you on a platter if you try to race a GTR or a Supra TT. But you have to know what to look for to be able to spot something like a 370kW Audi station wagon. :) ...or even a Stagea. You know how many people confuse those Stageas for Volvos!! Expect the unexpected...

Whats with Corollas and strange electrical gremlins?? GIR has problems too. Not as serious as Turbo Rolla's, but still worth a mention, coz they are pretty strange... Driving at night with the headlights on, and the switch flipped to make the driving lights come on with high-beam... all is good. It behaves as it should. As soon as you switch the engine off... The driving lights come on!! So you have to switch them off when exiting the car. I can also switch the car off at the ignition, and have the keys out of the barrel, and my driver's door open before the engine stops. ITS NOT pre-ignition, and it has always done it. Its just like a 2 or 3 second turbo timer. Really Strange...
