  1. Heh heh heh... I mean go to the site and check the white Bentley Arnage wagon...
  2. I have a bit of a soft spot for station wagons... Especially ones with arse-kicking abilities!! :)
  3. This pic says it ALL!!! WOW!!! Check the Bentley Arnage wagon there too at www.pestalozzi.net
  4. How much is a 5-link setup gonna cost, as opposed to a fully re-built leaf spring setup with excellent shocks?? Keeping in mind engineer's certificates and mod plates for registering the car after the job is done??
  5. There was a wagon kicking about Devonport, northern Tas that had the treatment... Not quite as lush as the ones above tho. More funny is a mini van I saw like that!!
  6. The most successful rally car of **ALL TIME** had a leaf spring rear end... Its ALL in the build and setup.
  7. I know a few of the guys who run course cars... But not Michael. It'll probably be renters this year, as sometimes its a bit expensive for car companies to provide a heap of cars to be thrashed about for a week.
  8. Not sure... I was offered a drive of one of the lesser course cars (002, 003a/b etc), but I needed to be 25 for the insurance... Now I'm 25, I can't do it coz of uni!!! :P Always the way. Fayt, who's your daddy??
  9. Brass Knuckles... Cross bows... Thor's Axe... AK-47... Anti-tank missiles... ...or not. :P
  10. I'm sure MacGuyver could supply a set...
  11. Nice one... I'll keep an eye out. Do you get the pedals?? Or the "silly-seat"??
  12. Hi all, I'm Stage Commander at Wilmot (behind Ulverstone), for Targa. I am struggling for numbers of reliable officials to do Time Card Recording, Line-up, Road Closure etc. I'm starting to get worried that we won't have enough officials in time :P The stage is Saturday 29th April, need to be there about 10am. Its easy to find, and We should be done by about 3.30-4pm. I can supply maps/directions for those unsure of location. PM or SMS/call me on 0438 614 495 if you are even mildly keen.
  13. I know this is well out of the way, but the BMW owner's group is having a club day at Baskerville that day... Last one was a blast with a handful of M3s and a couple of brand new, 500BHP V10 M5s. Show be great fun. Its only half day, so maybe it'll be too early for you lot.. I'll try to get to Cambell town and say Hi :P Hobart Crew!! Who's keen for a bit of a drive?? :hmmm:
  14. Ah.. yeah, I will definately not disagree there. Over-reactive, and bad tempered. But karma has come and kicked him in the arse so many times... But I seem to be to be only one learning from his mistakes!! :) :S I was only trying to make light of a situation that infuriates alot of us here at rollaclub, me included. ;) Smacko... Don;t bite the heads off babies!! They'll give you cavaties, and make a nasty mess of your shirt!! :P
  15. Thanks for the advice all... I've got a little more homework to do obviously :) The bank balance denotes that the mods are a little way off yet... More time for research :S
  16. I watched a mate of mine repeatedly smash his door into all the passeger side panels of a Falcon that parked way too close once!! :) He was furious, so as he reversed out SLOWLY... !!bang bang bang bang!! Opening his drivers door HARD onto the Falcon no less than 20 times!! It was violent, it was scary, and f@$k it did some damage!! 2 options in your situation Smacko... 1. Lay the boots in!! Do more damage than they did to yours!! + It'll make you feel justified for a little while - Karma... It'll come back to you - If some do-goody sees you, or the owner does... Your f@$ked. 2. Wait for them and do things properly + You will possibly get them to pay for it + You won't injur yourself smashing their car up - Could be waiting a while... - You could lose control, smash their knee-caps, steal their groceries, and bite the head off their child!! Maybe thats just me... :S
  17. Obviously anyone who has said K motors are indestructible (this includes me) simply isn;t trying hard enough!!! Top work!! Bring the carnage!!!
  18. I travelled back to hobart from devonport this afternoon via the Great Lake Highway. It starts at deloraine, and you rejoin the highway at Kempton, about 45min outta Hobart. WHAT A f@$kING BLAST!!! :P :| It starts on flowing, but bumpy country roads, then it tightens up into mountain passes, then into 30odd kms of gravel (as it passes Great Lake). Then the fun begins... Coming off the Central Plateau into the Southern Midlands, its smooth, ultra-fast, flowing, deserted roads!! I was tapped in 4th at 5500RPM (didn't wanna push the 4k any harder), clipping apexes, spraying gravel!!! Bloody wonderful. Pulled up at Bothwell, oil blown all over engine bay (need a catch-can) and boiling radiator (need antiboil)... :D I don't think I hurt it badly. But christ she was flying!!! Man, it was a blast. I highly reccommend this for anyone looking for a great day out. But remember that there is gravel... DISCLAIMER- I'm not saying reckless speeds on open roads is a good thing. Always drive within your limits, and if you are gonna go out 'fanging', don't risk anyone elses life but your own. :)
  19. I marked the panels out for the old van I had on a big piece of checker-plate. However I never conpleted them coz I wrote the van off... Then I got rid of the plate. ah well
  20. Bugger...
  21. :D Built for speed is my excuse... And the fact I can't be stuffed trying to make it look sexy ;)
  22. Biggo... No u-turns either cobber, you'll break stuff!!
  23. Mate had one... Not a bad car, FWD tho. They aren't that fast, or fun to drive tho. Give ita miss and spend the cash on a Corolla :jamie:
  24. Hmmm... Own a house thats tripled in value over the years, Modded Corollas, Engines in and out with minimal tools (AE101s, KEx0s, GTR skyline, 323 rallycar.. gearboxes too in that one!!) Tons of stuff....
  25. Cool... What breed??
