  1. Will it need the underdrive pulley?? I can't imagine that I'll be pulling more than 6000 rpm.... ever!!
  2. A mate had a big session on the weed (he's got a mental illness too... Big no no!!), and got a big does of paranoia!! He saw a heap of tennis balls formed into a pyramid (including a big one on the top of the stack) in the window of a sports store. He was really scared!! Mumbled something about "Tennisballs gathering their troops... Look that big one is their Queen!!" Conspiracy theory!! Bizarre Shit!!
  3. Thats the SHIT!!! Love it :jamie:
  4. Here's my old KE36.... The OZ wheels look tops!! hehehe :jamie:
  5. Here's my effort... The river had been so high that it washed all the gravel off the bridge (bridge: big logs with gravel over the top!!). Came at it about 120km/h all locked up, and out of shape... Slid onto the big log on the edge of the bridge, then over-balanced into the river (which was still flowing pretty hard)... Nearly midnight in the middle of the forest, going full noise then BANG!! The water was freezing and was deep eonugh to fill the cockpit!! You got no idea how difficult it was just to get out of the car!! Scariest thing I'v ever experienced!! Not fun even in the slightest... :jamie: ;)
  6. Probably already all seen these pics, but I thought I should post them in my Project thread too... This is the 4k that I installed. Nice and clean after a big degreaser session!! Added a thermo Fan to get rid of the one off the engine (apparently frees up a few more Horsies). Don't know how I managed to get this thermo, but I think it is off a Magna. Fits nicely, and I hope it will work efficiently. This was today... Fitted the 4 Narva lamps that were off my old 323 rallycar. You will all be able recognise me from a distance out on the road :jamie: May have to consider upgrading the alternator... ;)
  7. Quick release harnesses fix that issue... I rolled the 323 into a river one night rally. Car was 3/4 submerged, but the harnesses still undid super-quick!! f@$king scary as hell!! Not fun, and I still can't look back on it and laugh... *shudder*
  8. Not sure whether they have to make wider guards or not?? It wouldn't be the same width as a road-car would it?? About the only 'true' thing from factory is the lights, would be my guess. I wonder if Ralliart could whack a big turbo on these new Mitsi 175kW '380' sedans, and match pace with the supercars?? FWD... good for racing!!
  9. I seriously want a run in one of these... Jet Sprint Aquatic version of Rallying!! Bloody big file, but top quality, and a hell of a blast!!
  10. MMMMMmmmmmmm........... Could be a retro 'remake' of the KExx Coupe, like the remakes of Mustang, Beetle and mini!!! Someone pass the drool rag!! :jamie: Drift piggie!!
  11. Hey Rob, Where'd you source the flares from?? Are they new?? What sort of $$??
  12. Hmmm.... Now, where is my anglegrinder!! :jamie:
  13. My friend took acid, and got chased by Mr Men one night... He ran for about 3kms, and we found him hiding in the kitchen cupboard. He'd pulled all the pots and pans out, and they were scattered all over the kitchen. I was absolutely petrified!! Its the most frightened I've ever seen anyone. He wasn't just scared, he was completely mortified!! It was actually quite unsettling!!
  14. Did you make a wish?? :jamie:
  15. Man... I miss my 323 rallycar :jamie: ;)
  16. If I was to build a serious 4cyl circuit racer, It would be FWD!! Sure, they drive from the wrong end, but as above, they are insanely quick thru corners!! But, it would have to be RWD for a rallycar!! :jamie:
  17. Cool... It was back-to-front. That might explain why the brakes were a bit shit on the 1st drive.
  18. Not a Rolla but... This is my 535i BMW with a bit of altered panel work. BMW actually made 3 proto-type 2drs... All are in the museum or private collections now. I stripped door handles, and dumped it a little more. :jamie:
  19. Cute Factor: 11!! My little kittens :jamie:
  20. Ahh... I didn't know that either!! Apperently Levin was the name of the racetrack where the first Corolla racing victory happened. Not 100% sure tho
  21. Ok, the flap in the carby does have a weight on it... And if it does open with vacuum, that expains why it wouldn't open when the motor was switched off!! :jamie: The PCV on the rocker cover is not my issue. I pulled that out and cleaned it up, and its spot on.. **EDIT** - Pic won't upload... Check out the URL How does it work?? I noticed you can blow thru it one way, but not the other, so atleast its operational. But which way is the 'flow' meant to go?? The direction of the arrow CLOSES the valve when pressure is applied. Is that correct, or is it meant to be the other way?? ;)
  22. Hahaha... You know, I was reading your project topic last night and thought "Hmm... Wonder if he'd be keen to sell that motor" :( PM me once you have a think... No rush, as I'm still broke :)
  23. CORRECT!!! Give the man a Freddo Frog!! :) How'd I know you'd get it Jamie!! :( Next one: Why are the 'Hot' versions of the Corolla called "Levins"??
  24. Hey all, Just doing a few more bits and peices to P:36, anbd have a few questions. Firstly, the "secondries" don't open on the carby. The reason is that the mechanicals on the side of the carby don't quite line up. I had a bit of a think and a fiddle with them, and there is no real easy way to make them line up either. So, can I have the secondry butterfly open all the time?? Will this hamper the cars performance?? I believe that the secondry jet is working (tho I couldn't see any fuel actually squirt into the secondry), but there was a puff of vapour from the secondry. Secondly, there is a line runs from the inlet manifold to the brake booster/master cyl. It has a PC Valve (I think) in the line. Which way is the 'flow' of the valve meant to go?? When OPEN, is it flowing to the inlet, or away?? And there is a sensor-type-thingie on the Brake line 'splitter' (on the firewall, where the brake lines separate) It has a green connector on it... Whats it for, as my KE30 2dr doesn't have it.
  25. Remember when the Corolla Sportivo came out?? The slogan was: "Corolla by name, not by nature." Any thoughts on exactly WHY Toyota chose this slogan?? (Corolla History Buffs will get it straight away) f@$k I laughed when I saw the first advertisment using this slogan... Marketing Genuis Thoughts??
