Ahh ok that's no good was a quick motor. Did it destroy the head? I started the gill Davis but didn't finish. I was in a blue ke70. I did an alternator an lost lights. If you end up at mornappa I might have to say hello. Not running i only live 10 mins from hq

Have you tried the Yokohama ao35's they seen to keep gripping even when tread depth is low

Looks like you have nighto's (Dave nightingale's) old ke55 Do you know what happened to the red hot motor he had in it. I haven't seen you at any vcrs or vrc events this year? Are you running the mornappa event?

hey guys I'm jus wondering what crossmember and and engine mounts to run in my ke70 so i can run a 2tg. i already have a 5k and t50 in the car but jus don't have enough grunt to keep up with everyone in my class (P2 Victorian Club Rally Series). i understand that i have have the car homoligated to run the 2tg legally without changing class any help or advice would be great Cheers Ryan

nope I'm using a original ke70 one do i need an ae71 one? i just drilled the rubber mount holes to suit the ke70 crossmember

its a cable one. they are bout 30mm off. i might just weld 2 strips to the original crossmember and drill appropriatley

i like to run the yokohama AO... something or other haha . they feel stable in the wet and dry. your local race or tyre bloke would have a few just ask

hey guys i just got hold of a k-t bell housing and a new motor. i have it all sitting in the car. but the g/box crossmember doesnt line up with and holes in the car is there a certain gbox mout i have to use or do i have to make a custom one? cheers Ryan

no worries mate should i just drop those lifters in and not worry bout the cam as i think its a similar grind as the one i bought off you and beer head . the car is a rally car in which it is going into. also doesn't the solid lifters increase ho far the valve opens creating more air flow into the motor?

is there any difference in 5k and 4k cam eg solid lifter and hydraulic lifter cams? i am about to do a solid lifter conversion and don't know it i have to change the cam aswell

hey mate where u located? I'm in morwell for work but live in stratford on the weekend. i have a 2tg i want to put together for my ke70 but have no idea on how to assemble it as it came in pieces might have to go to a GCC event to have a look sometime this year

sounds like the same if not similar cam is in my car get hold of some twin 40mm webers and that car will fly
