  1. trev is that in an ae82? ke10 is looking for people with seat changes in ke10s ... :D
  2. i fitted ke70 seats into a lada niva...anything is possible :D have you tried fitting newer model seats? there would probably be only slight differences that you could easily fix...cut cut, drill drill, bolt bolt, weld weld ;) its easy peasy  *whispers* the mods like it if you introduce your self. jus like what u drive, where you live (add this to ur profile), what you do. just some basics so we get to know you. cheers mate
  3. i beg to differ. ke70 alternators are regulated at 14.8 and many new cars the alternator is regulated at 15.1 14.8 is a good charging voltage
  4. ignition only ecu's are costly too. iv just got one custom made for the 1ggte running lpg in the ke70. lookin at around 1100 AU$ for ignition only...so hmm as bill says, you can get away with a unit with onle mach advance, but coz I'm turbo's i need boost retard. something to keep in mind if you have any future plans for forced induction. also the price of twin webbers isnt gonna be much less than the price of setting a car up for efi in my opinion. and then you have issues with having to tune, and your never get as gooder tune from carbs as you are an ecu. also an ecu will adapt to all conditions whereas a carb has to be tuned to the weather, so a retune for summer and winter is required if you want best performance. remeber, carbs are old school for a reason. but lpg carbs rock! its half the prive of petrol, it sounds like a carb'd engine, and you get the same power as fuel if you run them on dedicated lpg.... plus you can up compression and advance the spark :D but i degress... one thing i wondered is: isnt the 4a-c rad gonna be a little hard pushed when you have a 4age workin its titties off ?
  5. why don't you lot all shut up or get on topic and also get some real tyres...my STOCK ke70 use to 4 wheel drift in the DRY til i put pirellis on the front, now it pirouhettes like a dancing queen. and learn to drive fast, not sideways, grip racing has alot more point to it than drifting ffs. now then, i believe we were talking about 7ks with nos....yes it would be possible, no i wouldnt recommend it, and no its not gonna rev very hard. do a 4agte conversion if you want SERIOUS driveable power.
  6. remember, when removing steering wheels, keep the nut on a little bit while you hit it loose. if not you end up with a sore nose.... a bit offtopic but ive seen so many guys do it....
  7. :lolcry: you abused the owner of the forum :lolcry: you think all four wheels sliding is a drift....thats just your shitty tyres man. yes, 7mgte is a very good motor, and in america they churn some serious! power out of them
  8. theres a handy response :lolcry: have a good check through everything, check all your earths :lolcry:
  9. pushrod V8s are horn! bring back the days of carbied V8s rolling out the factory with a tick over so low, and so much air being moved that you can hear each. individual. firing. stroke. nothing beats it, seriously! V8 pushrod muscle all the feking way! and you want big motors for big torque, not to rev the shit out of and get big hp. hp is only torque x revs anyway, so its the low revving nature of these engines that make their power figures look quite low. but without torque you aint gonna move your shit anywhere!
  10. shit!!!! what is that thing?!?! i soooo want one! that thing is just unbelieavable gorgeous!@!!!!!1111one have you got any pics of the arse end? it looks like a mini xa2x celica!! so, so sexy! dude u have my RESPECT!

  21. that underbody sound deadener prob does agood job if u paint it on nice and think. in and out. up the firewall, in the doors itswhat i plan on doing. just make sure you let it air out plenty...
  22. mmmmm rust :P foam traps water brilliantly and holds it. making the floor rust out very quick, same as when u put it on ur firewall or inside the doors etc there was a VW that came from factory with foam packing in it i think under the rear window or something. if you look at these EVERY SINGLE ONE is rusted out to buggery in just those places. avoid foam and other shit that holds water ! :P
