hmm, now that the 1ggte ke70 is moving, thats my fastest car. dad pissed me off, so to make a point i did a huge stand still in the shed and now theres nice black lines from one end to the other :) and that wasnt even half throttle :)

see people say that, but everytime i do. something goes wrong. for example: coming out of toll booth heading away from Brisbane just been and delivered engine and box to ian, so we had the trailer on the back. i come out and just nail it up to about 6500 and she starts to feel pretty bloody shaky so we change gear, only to find shes now running on 3. so i drive the 50 KM home with a very sick 4k and in the mornin pull rocker cover off to fnd a pushrod had managed to slide out from under the rocker so no.3 inlet had been jammed shut the whole way home. moral of the story: it was easy to fix and thrashing a 4k is great fun, but theres always somethin thats gonna go wrong :)

mine pulls from 2500 and starts to run out of balls at 5300-5500 but as rolla boy said, get it dynod and see where power falls off with a stock carb good luck in getting it to give you fuel anywhere after 6000 :)

i was talkin to a bloke in the know, and apparently only the most common DBA rotors are aus made. the rest are cheap low quality imports. they also charge excessively and are no better than RDA

id buy new rotors. RDA ones are pretty cheap when you consider you would probably have to get second hand ones skimmed anyway and then theres bugger all life left in them. i just paid 48 per rotor for brand new ra60 ones :)

tune it properly and see how she goes. the smoke your getting out the back is black, which is why ur thinking its carbon yes? could also be unburnt fuel coz its running rich :)

running rich? is it condesation only when you start it or all the time? using any water?
