my stock ke70 axle tramps something shocking. then again the shocks are yonder 300,000 km's old. id give it a go with the stocko diff and if you rip big one wheels skids and clutch dump and it goes to slush just say "meh" whack a replacement in then get a conversion done up. i have an alfa lsd from a 71 i think berlina. duno what it weighs and the mounts have been moved for it to fit proper but i don't think it was shortened and its a good fit. don't be afraid to take a measure stick and think outside the box

speaking to biggo just then he's said its just the sheet metal where the radiator screwed to. mine has been cut, i don't think hes cutting anything structural etc which is what i was thinking (and i think you were to?)

ta22 brakes are solid 228mm, with thickness of 10mm min 9mm ke30 brakes are solid 218mm, thickness 10mm to 9mm for imported brakes, local brakes are 12.7 max 11.5 min. rx7 series 1 brakes are vented 228mm, 18mm, 17mm...maybe if you could upgrade those series one brakes to series 3 brakes which are 250mm. but any of the options you provided were nothing to get excited about.

me and my mate are thinking a really good black, sorta like the black the new 7 series bmw's have with gt stripes of some sort. work in progress and just a silly idea. not sure if it will look any good but i thought id throw it out there aye and btw, lets not talk about clearance problems :jamie: my hydraulic clutch fluid resevior sits about 2 mm away from exhaust/turbo manifold :D

i run 36 psi in my tyres on the ke70 stock rims and 75 profile (it makes me sick). these tyres also break traction before the rear does. not sure if this is coz the pressure is too high to let them mould into the surface or just coz theyre shit and from the wreckers :locked: but yeah, the lower the profile the better the handling thru corners, but will result in a roughier and noisier ride

unleaded. ive asked toyota and unleaded is fine just last week there was a discussion on this. searching helps

but your car is gonna be almost 100% new, and will look and go better than new so its understandable why your setting the odometer to new aswell :locked:

thats probably a very good idea but i doubt i will bother doing it as I'm assuming it takes time and effort and i like to point out to people yes, its a 1.3, yes i just broke traction rather easily and yes it really has done 411k :) and that will just be even better when its a 1g instead of a 4k :locked:

haahahha 120 for a swift rad, i paid 125 for a radiator out of a mazda astina. you see biggo, the main issue is that the world is against YOU and ME and the COMPLETION of our shitboxes :locked:

i have aircon in my 4k ke70. don't use it coz i have to flat foot to maintain 100km/h up a slight incline nicks right, convert to something with more jizz, then get aircon :D
