ok, so what type number of ryco oil filters would be best for a mildly worked 5k do you think?

looks like ryco is da way 2go, but i must admit my valvilines have never given any trouble,.... yet...

sounds fun, but you mainlanders get ripped off left, right and centre, Baskerville Raceway in tas is $55 per car for the whole day, and the track's pretty much yours onc you pay..... but if you do it, it would be wise not to hit each other :wink:

Hi guys, Since there are lots of oil filters out there, what brand/type of oil filter do you use for your 5k engines? I use Valvoline V011's, does anyone use anything different? Are some better than others, or are they all pretty much the same thing?

sounds pretty good :D as long as you don't need that extra $600 to do something to one of your other rolla's then why not :wink: but id use the money to get a good pair of webers.... :droooooooool: :D

last friday i was walking down the footpath and I see this lady in a steel tray ute coming out of a carpark on the side of the road now, tell me if you get this.... she is parked outside a company, the company ute is behind her ute, there is no car in front of this lady, its a one way main road, and as I'm watching her while walking closer to her, here she is, trying to reverse, and I'm like :S , then as shes frantically looking at her mirrors trying drive out of this car space, she then jams on the acceletator, and fully pounds the f@$k out of the ute behind her, smashin its right indicator and bending the whole grill and front end, she the realises she hit the comany ute, she then saw me going ;) , then sped off, and I'm like, " YOU NASTY FU*KING COW!!!!" I then got her plate number, and the dude who was running the company came out, I then told him the plate number, he was all friendly and in the end actually knew who I was, and then it was all done should she need a license for driving a ute? YES!!! Like I mean honestly, why the f@$k did she reverse when all she need to do was to put it in 1st gear, wait for the traffic then drive off? weird... and for a more on-topic reply, I think there should be some kind of test for people driving heavy, large vehicles, cos if there is a person who aint that knowledgable of what heavy vehicles can and can't do, then i wouldnt want them on the road, lets say theres me driving in my ke10, then theres this unco retard person driving a large landcruiser with a bullbar on it, whats gonna come out second best?

are you talking about the oil filler cap that goes on top of the k motor, if you are, how did you not know it had one, they are right on top of the motor... :S Am i mistaken?....

thats nice amazing what you can create with good paint and hot wheels -has the back bumper been painted with chrome spray??? should use real chrome...

my car passed without reverse lights.... when i got around to trying to fix it, they didnt work because,...... ... they werent pluged in.... easy fixed :hammer:

i havent really had any dodgy mods done..... ..... ..... .....once I put the wrong thermostat in my rolla..... ... ... ... ... yeah..... :hammer:

At my house we got a spare Rotary Rotor 2 engine that produces 320hp that is used as a spare engine for my dads racing car, wouldnt be too hard to transfer into my ke10, but id never be allowed on the road again... :hammer:

oh well, I'm happy :) recieved it a few days aggo, its really cool, its in better condition than my mph speedo nd it even looks better :) I think they made the kmph speedos for ke10/11's after they change it from mph to kmph in aus, then toyota developed a kmph speedo for people wanting to do a swap their mph speedo, but I'm not entirely sure... i reckon i will get it in on the weekend :lol:

yeah ive seen his ke20 in the flesh, it is really awesome, very clean. the owner of the ke20 was actually the dude who told me about this site

Ive heard of a dude in tassie who's selling a brand new set of twin DCOE webers for $700, but he has now decided that they are some kind of rare limited edition things and now he has risen the price quite a deal. p.s.- stay away from the DCOM webers, they are shit :D

I'm gonna have my extractors covered in heatproof seramic coatings, so they stay silver all their life, instead of grotty black and brown colour :cool:
