October 18, 200718 yr comment_204055 just remember that the 1uzfe has a bulletproof bottom end... 6 bolt mains, forged crank, forged rods, hypereutectic pistons... on www.1uzfe.com it says.. "What would a discussion of the 1UZ-FE be without mentioning the 6-bolt main, steel cap, deep crank recess, bottom end. This contributes to a virtually indestructable assembly. The stock bottom end has been known to make almost 1000 bhp on mostly stock parts. With a completely stock assembly and compression ratio (10:1), the 1UZ has produced 600 bhp with 15 bs of boost." so although the 1jz can make power, so can the 1uz. plus the fact from memory the 1jz has ceramic turbos, you can boost it like you can with the 1uz assuming you go turbo... October 18, 200718 yr comment_204132 1JZ vvt-i turbo..... i think they have steel-wheel turbo, unlike the ceramic ones on the twin turbo, and are more 'torquey' than the TT 1JZ. would personally be my pick!! Report

November 6, 200718 yr comment_207527 next door neighbours got an 03 2.7l hilux 3rzfe stock std with a turbo makes 320rwhp didn,t even pull the rocker cover off, 1uz,s make 190kw at the engine so do the maths, that twin boosted 2.7l is going ahead Edited November 6, 200718 yr by curly Report
