cos I'm bored of doing nothing to the car i thought i might get some painting done on it.

namely the rocker covers and if i can the engine bay/as much of it as i can get to.

i know i should have painted the engine bay with out the engine in but i didnt know it would be not running for this long.

i will be paying to get the rocker covers powdercoated because i want them to look decent.

engine bay I'm not to fussed about.

alright well this has caught my attention much so, looks awesome, you should make some sic white speedo and tacho backing like mine, wasnt that hard if you can photoshop, check out my car in rides and projects, i think i even posted up the things just need to print em out at right size and glue em on, turn your lights on to line up works a treat and looks sic as.

i like the carbi idea cause i wouldnt be able to run all the efi and shit at my level yet i think, pity I'm not alowed engine conversions on my p's...

later good work man!

That sucks. :)

Maybe you'll stop thrashing your panel van so much now? Haha.

Engine looks awesome... I never thought about the fact that carbies would get rid of most of the wiring crap... good idea.

be interested to see if there is any ecconomy in them - given that theoretically, anyone withupto and inluding a series 1 AE92, could run a similar setup. love the look, can't wait to see it when its finished

Looken great,

So the AE crossmember fit straight into the KE70 and the motor just dropped in? sounds so simple haha.

yes. its simple.

joshs car is sweet.

all of his million e7 have sometihng about them.

ive done some panel work since being back, smoothed over the badge holes in the boot lid, and also the holes where the mirror screwed into on the drivers door.

i found gasket kits for the carbs so they will be rebuilt soon!

also picked up a mikuni carb sticker... gota reprizent!

still am struggling with fitting the carbs in with the brake booster tho.

Wants video when vehicle has been done. Carbs on that motor. Yumm--eeee.

i swapped to the ae71 tailshaft the other day, and started putting the interior back together.

it almost looks like a car again.

also i decided to put the carbs on and give starting it one more try and, with a shit load of aerostart, it came to life for a few seconds... shes a f@$king beast!!!
