Its not a black centre, It polished stainless so it looks chrome.

I got a bit more done, Tried my last attempt at getting the rust off. Hopefully this time it does not come back.

Bought a tiny little Spray gun for $16 from one of those cheap tool centers. Thought i'd give it a shot and it works heaps good!

Takes about 60mls of paint in its tiny glass jar and works on the air compressor. Got the engine bay touched up and rear right quarter panel redone.

 

The green paint is 50/50 acrylic etch primer with GP thinners. Hopefully it wont come back now. If it does.... I give up and i'll pay someone to fix it.

 

 

Sweet as John, Hurry up and get the paint done.

I'm trying, Once the painting is done i can start putting the car back together with all my new parts.

Just need about $2500 which i don't have. I thought about putting all the paint and material's on the credit card then paying for labor with savings.

Might just pay for everything on the card and buy some new 17" wheels, tint the car and run to the hills..

Bought a few more goodies this morning

New thermostat, High temp grease, Braided hose kit (needed something to make the engine look as good as the gearbox. It looks like crap next to the new painted box) and some gasket glue

 

 

In regards to that braided sleeve you have bought (I have tried to use it and = ;) lol) , I thought Id give you the link for the braided hose I used on Rolla Bus :bash:

Looks shit hot too. The kit that i bought has been a right pain in the ass. And the fake anodised ends don't fit on when the hose clamps are on.

Yeah man haha I have the same issue with the fake anodised ends as well :lmao:

I ended up chucking mine all over the backyard in frustration!

 

The Pacific Hoseflex ones use the proper fittings and the briaded hose is really good quality too! :wtf:
