KE70-from-mt-panorama Posted November 16, 2008 Report Posted November 16, 2008 jobs are awesome, i have like 200 a week now to spend on rum beer and beam and the corolla, its about 50/50 between alcohol and car ;P If your going to pubs you will need more than 100. Drinking at home is cheaper but not as fun. When you first start going out you survive on 50-70 at the pubs, but very quickly moves up to 200+ for a night on the town. My OMG is how much better the front end of my car looks now i actually painted all the grill, bonnet trim, etc. didnt think it would make it this much better.
trav_555 Posted November 16, 2008 Report Posted November 16, 2008 yeah pubs cost shit loads, i buy a six pack and drink it before i go cause I'm cheap ahaha
Lexxi[ke35] Posted November 16, 2008 Report Posted November 16, 2008 My OMG... I figured out KE55's have round OR square headlights!!! Now the world makes sense... :)
Hiro Protagonist Posted November 16, 2008 Report Posted November 16, 2008 My OMG... I figured out KE55's have round OR square headlights!!! Now the world makes sense... :) Yep, early KE55s have the round lights, late ones have the square lights. They changed a few other things as well - tail-lights, door trims, grille etc...standard face-lift really.
Lexxi[ke35] Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 (edited) Yep, early KE55s have the round lights, late ones have the square lights. I always thought ke55 was one model and then the next model (after a facelift) had a different number? Wow, turns out I know nothing. :) Edited November 17, 2008 by Lexxi[ke35]
Budowski Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 OMG!!!!!!!! guess what happened to me today i dislocated my toe in the shower after work and it magically poped itself back in again. seriously this happened.
Hiro Protagonist Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 I always thought ke55 was one model and then the next model (after a facelift) had a different number? Wow, turns out I know nothing. :) The KE55 is basically a facelifted/upgraded KE30 anyway....
SoulSearcher Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 I got my car back... again *YAY*
JiP Posted November 18, 2008 Author Report Posted November 18, 2008 Tho the reason the number was changed was cause the KE55 received an engine upgrade. Oh and today my rubber kit finally came for my hardtop :)
towe001 Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 The KE55 is basically a facelifted/upgraded KE30 anyway.... So true, my square lighted '55 is nothing more then a ke30

camerondownunder88 Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 KE30 also have the threaded holes in the floor pan to fit a K-T50 gearbox. KE55 don't have T series holes in them also. But that's about it
JiP Posted November 18, 2008 Author Report Posted November 18, 2008 Oh and early KE30's have 2 speed auto's while late E30's have 3 speed autos.
towe001 Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 KE30 to KE55 Only with different internal door handles, intrusion bars, new grille, headlights stick out (not sunk in), rear seatbelt hanger changes position, chrome mud flap now gone, new bonnet with power bulge, built in vents now horizontal, bonnet strip changes, steering wheel changes, bumpers change, engine change to 4K Sounds about what mine is but with the square lights
