Warning signs may include freeze-ups, in which the screen has strange, spontaneous graphical problems in the middle of gameplay, such as checkerboard or pinstripe patterns on the screen, the sound is frozen and changed to a strange, static-like sound, and the console only responds to pressing the power button to turn it off. These events may happen once or several times until the general hardware failure occurs, or not at all. Just because your Xbox freezes once in awhile does not mean that the error will follow. When the error does occur, the user attempts to turn the console on and the three red lights are seen and the console will not function.

maybe its microsoft attempting to get people off their asses and outside instead of sitting playing games on the telly

If it wasnt microsofts product, you would have a hard time understanding how they let it into the general public without proper fault testing etc...

but then you look at every first edition windows OS and remember that they are made by the same people.

6 days till settlement! wooohoo!

Yeah i thought that as well

till i had to hand over its serial number and just next to it was its build date of 2006-11-13. And i bought the system brand new around august last year and with a current operating system version.

And on that note i've come across a linux site that says some of the systems might be also be brand spanking new but their operating system version is dated from a few years back.

So when you go to buy one check its build date - you should be able to see it though to hole in the box that showing what the xbox's serial number is....

bloody cat.

She caught a mouse on monday night, I went to find her out that back at about 8pm, and here she is playing with something.

went over and found her with a mouse, I grabbed her and she had the thing in her mouth, still kicking tail hanging out.

Made her drop it, the thing had a broken back, back legs wernt working, it was just rolling around on the ground.

Took elsie inside and then went out and put the mouse out of its misery.... not real fun (i don't mind dead mice, it was more the snapping its neck parts that wasnt fun, mice in mouse traps are fine)

Then last night, cat wouldnt come inside on dark, dissappeared over the back fence into the reserve, its flogging down rain.

long story short, went out with the torch and found her with another mouse, torn in half, she picked up the back end and ran away, leaving me with half a babyish mouse, guts hanging out etc etc.

Wasnt happy about that.

So she is getting locked up before dark now, we usually let her come in just after dark as she usually wanders in for dinner, but i don't like the idea of picking up mouse parts night after night, its just not that much fun..

I don't have a problem with dead animals, I think its more the fact that our little kitten is now a hunting machine, I could put up with lizards and crickets, but mice are a bit far!

My wife finally got her holidays approved so we can go to the Gold Coast, punch in Tiger Airways site, and due to the delay from her stupid Manager the flights have now doubled in cost.

Thanks heaps Manager :bash:

The itchy giant-mosquito bite looking rash got about ten times worse yesterday, ALL. OVER. MY BODY. Went to the doctor, found out it was some allergic reaction [and we can't figure out what to] and he gave me medication for it. Woke up this morning, it had started again. Took more pills, its gone :bash: Let's hope it doesn't happen again coz I'm all outta pills

Check Qantas, their prices usually stay lower for longer even compared to Virgin (my personal preference) and jettarts. That said I'm certainly doing everything in my power in future to avoid flying in one of their (Qantas') junkets again.
