Lexxi[ke35] Posted March 15, 2009 Report Posted March 15, 2009 Someone tried to break into my boyfriend's car last night. We were at the skate park in town and Ryan and Bianca came to say hi. A few seconds after they left Ryan came back and said "Eddy, someone's trying to break into your car" and we all looked around and some guy was trying to smash Eddy's drivers window. We all ran over there and Eddy was like "what the f@$k are you doing?" and we were standing around for a few minutes while the guy, who was obviously very drunk or high or both, tried to convince Eddy that it wasn't Eddy's car and it wasn't the model it was. And he was trying to start on Eddy even though there was one of him and a good ten of us, the only girls being Bianca and myself. Eddy pretended to call the cops and the guy slowly staggered off into the darkness. But about an hour or so later when we were leaving the wanker was still hanging around near the car. Anyways, thank you so much again for letting us know Ryan and Bianca! :lolcry:

He hung around and then went to talk to my mates that stayed there when we left and tried to talk to them, obviously forgetting the whole thing. We didn't contact the police because they wouldn't do anything. We had no proof he had tried to break into the car. If we'd called them he would have taken off before they got there anyway, like he did. He disapppeared for like an hour. Then he came back. We couldn't keep the cops around waiting for him to come back. It would have been useless. A couple of cop cars drove past while he was trying to start on us and they didn't stop.
orangeLJ Posted March 16, 2009 Report Posted March 16, 2009 Cops more than likely would have put it as a low priority item and taken 3-5 hours to come out (if they did at all) then ontop of that, If they did come out and he was there, Lexxi and her friends would have to give statements etc etc. The guy would probably be locked up overnight for drunk and disorderly, and let out the next day (meaning he would be on the lookout for them next time and may actually do something worse to them) just isnt worth the while to call the coppers over little things these days.
