simple answer no. alternator has to work harder because theres more load from the electric supercharger

alternator load 0.8kw

supercharger output 0.6kw

 

not real figures but you get the idea

Electric RC planes are one of my hobbies. That brushed motor is only good for around 200watts or 0.2kw.

evan g they do work, a 16 year old girl ran jb camira. with an elec super charger on it in vcas events went very well

just thought i would post it up theres some different sorta things on that site like making your own angel eyes like they have on the bmw's

You can make them work, you just need a 1000watt amp.

 

Hook the remote wire of the amp up to the sense wire of the alternator but put a relay in between them triggered buy a toggle switch or accelerator switch, Make an rca to twincore wire converter and hook it up to the charging side of the alternator and turn the gain all the way up, Now hook the charger up to the amplifier in bridged mode, Now I have done this and tripled my horsepower.
