Haha mate, hope you havn't attempted cutting the tyres off yet. It takes forever cutting through the steel belts inside them..

Tyre shops only charge about 5-10 bucks each to rip them off.

Let all the air out and you can get them off with a shovel and some flat bar + hammer

Also wouldnt bother cutting tires off, just get them done properly, chance u will screw the rims up, plus you will never get the bead off, trust me ive tried!

yea your probs right, just wouldn't try it on good wheels, especially if you havnt done it before

I will agree on you there. If they were good wheels then i'd just get them taken off in store

Yea I'm gettin the tire shop to do it, I can't be bothered spending the weekend trying to get tires off with out damaging rims. But will polishe them right up and give them a really good clean. Might even take them in and get the gutter rash machined off. Cheers tally for letting me pay them off and letting me take them I'll put couple 100 in tomorrow.

Getting brand new front guards for this hopefully by next week, Then return rears to stock. Then there's only small jobs to get it off defect.

I wouldn't bother fixing your guards if it's only cop shop and if the defects only for tyres poking out.. My old lancer was defected for bald tyres so I put 14" r31 steelies on the front with barely legal tread, had the stock 13" on the rear. Fronts and rears had massive size differences and the cop didn't give a shit. So bigger guards shouldn't matter too much, they probably won't even know the difference.

Yeah that's a load of crap, I heard that too, cop shops still exist.

Nahhh there's got to be cop shops still. Guards aren't for getting it off defect, using the 14x8's for my track car so big guards are not needed now.

New guards showed up the other day go in to getting one on. Picked the side what was in a crash, ended up straighting front end up. Kinda got the left one one looks good with new rims. Kinda have the same problem as I use to with the wheels poking out.
