So my rims arrived from the ACT, courtesy of Trendact who sold them.

 

So i got to work on stripping off the dodgy, old paint.

 

Here's 3 coats of paint stripper and its still not all gone!

 

 

First coat of paint stripper applied and left to soak for 5-10mins

 

 

Paint scraped off and second coat of paint stripper applied and left to soak

 

 

I ran out of paint stripper, but this was my third coat and I'm nearly there!

After stripping paint off a set of wheels, I feel your pain.

what colour are they going to be (sorry if i missed it)

I'm either gonna go with black centre's or just polish the whole lot (which i will probably just do instead).

Casey: All depends if I can find a l/h side flare and also depends when I get another job to fund getting the moulds made.

 

Medicine_Man: I have a slight problem of the caliper touching the inside of the rim at the moment. :D

ah flares sorry(just say if I'm starting to piss you)

Flares will probaly sell for around $275 or thereabouts.

Use a file to "adjust" your calipers til they clear the rims :D
