Hey all rollaclubers. Wanting to change ignition coils, so I'm trying to find out the standard specs on a standard k series points type coil. Ive been looking at the MSD blaster 2. But theres no point going and buying one of those if its not much better than the standard coil. So if anyones got the specs or know where i could find them please tell me, I have looked everywhere for them. Cheers Corey

O.k to start this is a 16 valve 4AGE in an 87 model AE82 hatchback. Anyone know if there's a simple reason why my motor is blowing smoke seems to mainly be grey ? The car has plenty of power actually goes real well. Only thing is it does idle inconsistently it jumps up and down. Also the tappet cover gaskets are leaking but i wouldnt think that was the cause as it mainly seems to be burning off at the extractors. Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated.

Hi guys, Just recently finished the 20v conversion in my AE95 and having some problems. Not being very experienced with this sort of thing I had friends helping me and when it came time to grind the block the alternator was still connected to the motor and got covered in metal filings. I blew it out with the compressor as best I could. The car is together and was running but I have no battery light on the dash. I'm pretty confident the wires were hooked up properly. I took it for a test drive last night and got about 5 minutes down the road before the headlights and dash lights all went really dim and the car cut out and wouldn't start again. Does this…

G'day all, I just bought an Electric choke to install on my 32/36 Weber, thing is though, i can't seem to adjust it properly. So, I was hoping that some of you out there could inform me how to properly adjust a Electric Choke so it does it's job properly, because at the moment it's jumping all around the place at different temperatures... Note that the choke uses a Bi-Metal spring that recieves power from the ignition to heat it. Thanks. Stewart.

I have a 91 toyota corolla seca with the stock 4A-FE engine in it. I am looking to work out why there is a leak. Firstly, there is lots of grease under the distributor and around that area, also i noticed some radiator fluid under the car when i moved it. Has anyone had this problem before or know any possible causes?? Cheers

This is a quick how to fit guide for the T18 pedal clusters into a KE70/AE71 (auto) chassis. There are probably other ways to make this work but this is how I did it. It's very close to a bolt in, very little modification needed. The 4 mounting bolts on the upper portion of the pedal box, 2 you can just see there, having 1 more above each you can see respectively. They sit about 10mm from the face that they bolt up to, so I used 4 17mm nuts as washers and longer bolts to bolt it it place. On this part on a T18 there's an extra piece of steel spot welded on. I levered it off with a screwdriver and a hammer. The rest of the bolts bolt straight up as per facto…

Hi, Have a "semi-mystery" Diff on my bench in the work shop and I need to know how to measure it so I can narrow down exact model what it will fit etc. Also if possible can some members measure the diameter of the splines on a KE3X and newer diff and a KE2X and KE1X diff and count the splines? I have no spare axles out atm. Cheers Cameron

Hey Looking at putting a DGV on a Toyota 4y engine, the trouble is that it NEEDS a CAI style duct on the carburettor to hook it up to an LPG mixer and the rest of the air ducting. Just wondering if anyone running a DGV had a CAI setup and where abouts you bought the air duct adaptor from? was it hideously expensive?? Robert.

just wondering if its possible to get replacement jets for a standard carburettor? I have a carburettor off a 2y (1.8lt) and its on a 4y (2.2lt) and the jets are still the original items, also they are 430,000km old, and I'd assume worn somewhat. if its not possible to get the jets, does anybody have access to a toyota workshop manual that would have these sizes? I'm guessing the 4y was original equipment in tarago or liteace, maybe some dynas as well? I'm not adverse to drilling the jets to the correct size!! Robert.

Hey, Havent seen a thread on rollaclub like this and given the amount of questions we get about it i thought itd be helpful. Plus its an excuse to post up some tuff corollas. Anyone whose been on NS.com will know the drill, Post up pics of a kexx / texx / aexx (yours or otherwise) and include the type of wheels, offset and width, and any suspension / guard work needed to fit. hey guys, I'm getting further into a 4agze convention for my little 4wd wagon, and i really need some suspension advice. so getting down to it back when i put the thing back on the road i replaced most of the bushes and the rear shockers, i put kyb gas shocks in the back but i never touched the front end. as far as i can tell it has the original struts which would be close to 22 years old now. i want to replace the front struts as they are well ant truly dead, would new standard struts work well? or should i be looking into harder springs to stiffen the front end as it bottoms out alot. I'm not sure if standard ae series struts will work as of the extra added…

Hey guys, I am looking for some information or previous member experiences with KE30 swaybars as I have recently fitted a 3SGE beams into my corolla and the original one does not fit as it doesn't clear the front of the sump. Is there any suitable replacements or any others that would fit ? Or is it easier for me to just get one made ? Cheers Phil

Hi, I have looked around the web & checked your site. I am looking for Adjustable Air shocks (rear) for a Corona 1985 CS st141 Wagon, I want to be able to go places most 2 wheel drivers wouldn't go. The car has a set on it already ( 20 years old, fronts were too, new hydrolic now ) These are Armstrong Air Jackers, they are a small diametre air shock that was seemingly stopped being manufactured about 5 years ago... :bash: Anyone got any idea's, if it wasn't for the narrow 'tunnel' (if that's the correct term.) at the top, I wouldn't have the problem... These need to be replaced, the body roll with one leaky shock is terrible. :P Dancing you don't want to be, …
