  1. ive got a bigport head and it has aparently been plained down 80thou, will have to see how it goes on my 5k,
  2. from what ive worked out, if i use sigma lcas it should nearly equal it out as to length, will have a bit of a lay with it anyway, then ive just gotta work out the coloumn not my car but it does club days etc, mate of my dads has it, fast little NA car, has a t series and all with trd 2 way, discs all round, coilovers etc looks the goods

I'm gunna have a go at putting the rack into the k11 when i put the new motor in, went and looked at a ke11 with a 20valve and he has a ke70 rack and i mesured up a ke70 x member to a ke20 emember and the ke70 on is only about 1 to 1 1/2 " longer and I'm going to use the ke20 xmember with ke20 lcas and ke20 struts, have had a bit of a play around with datsun 1600 struts and with the ke20 strut top fitted the will bolt straight ontot he stock ke20 knuckle so that means 240k struts will fit in and they ahve massive brakes, will have to look into it though just a matter of playing around
  4. could be any of those you listed, might not be either, will most likly have carbs though as they are way better than injection
  5. if its the white one with wierd mags, its a slanty front, do you know what they wanted for it?i really want a flat front but i have a set of red flat front panels motor is a secret at the moment, wanna sell ur ke70 kieran??
  6. also this saturday there is a swap meet at brighton at the vcca area, its down the road next road next to caltex at brighton, and there is a sign there saying vcca, its about 100m past the turn off to baskerville cheers james
  7. WTB: ke70 sedan, i would prefer flat front but will look at slant front if its cheap enough, don't really wanna have to respray anything but may look at slightly damaged cars, must run, don't care what motor etc but would prefer manuel in the south of the state if possible PM me

  9. has anyone heard of a 4k-j dissy?? took it out of a 3k i ahve, thought it was a stock 3k one, looks the same as 3k, is it spose to ahve 4k-j on the side? sorry to do this in your thread leon, just seemed the right place
  10. igot use to getting the block buster out when i wanted to change the front wheels i ran rx4 steelies on my car before going back to stock wheels with hub caps, couldnt find anything that looked quite right or anything like the stock ones in 13" except some austin 1800 hub caps that i now have but the only problem is that they go onto the wheel by clipping onto the innder ring and not by the actual rim itself, and my mazda wheels didnt have the inner ring so that was the end of that if anyone finds suitable hubcaps, please tell me i have tried, datsun 1600, escort, datsun sunny, austin 1800, would like mazda rotary caps but they are fetching to much latley

  12. on my way up to launny last weekend i spotted a red ke30 with a matt black bonnet, a green ke70 with some cool wheels, also spotted a neat looking ke55 surounded by dog shit, saw lloyds 55, and nicks v6

  18. its a bellhousing for a steele case gearbox that came in the liteaces that had 5k's, don't ask me what the gearbox code is but the one that i saw was only a 4 speed column shift, would be bullet proof though i reckon
  19. you need to get the right model volvo for pots as one kind are made for vented discs and the other are made for solids, you can use the solid ones with vented discs but you need to space them out in the middle, they are good calipers for the price they sell at, i ahve them no the front of the datsun 1600 with hilux vented discs and they pull up awsome, i wouldnt bother with rear discs as i see no need for them, BTW these brakes bolted straight onto my 240k struts in the datsun but they needed spacing out and they need the mounts cut down and shortened.

  21. ive still got -18rg twin over head cam head for 2 litre 18r-c and similar engines,complete minus twin solexs, comes rocker cover and cams etc -$50 -18rg extractors will prob fit onto a normal 18r or r series engine -was$30 now $20 ra40 t series diff, complete drum to drum with tail shaft, will fit sprinter and #e7# etc -$150 wrecking ra40 celica, ke70 wagon, ke30 2 door and 2x MK 4 door escorts 2t-c, complete motor minus dissy, has head off so it needs a new head gaskett, good condition- $50 full set of 13x7 spitfires, tyres are stuffed, rims are polished, lots of dish, good for drift rims, $100 or swap decent pair of 14's W50 gearbox off 18rg, i think its steele case- $50 EOI: 71 ke20 shell with 2t crossmember and mydro clutch I'm very negotiable so PM me with what you want james
