i have a grill exactly the same as that to go into my ke20, it has the same badge as that to, and i have another grill like the one with the little squares and the same badge on it, nice project mate cheers james

sorry havnt got a pic of the carby, i may even be intrested in just selling the carby and not swapping it if you type in dellorto 40 on google i reckon you would get a pic of it its a 40DHLA carby and a redline manifold and it has a brand new soft mount kit and it will ne great on a 4k or 5k but i think its a little bit over board for my stock 3k engine cheers james

I'm willing to swap my 40mm dellorto side draught carby on a k manifold with a brank new soft mount kit, for a set of twin Asain carbs (k-b) with air filters etc, would prefer to be standard air filters manifold, carbys but will look at anything just need something a bit more tame for my near stock 3k cheers james

have a look at the one in brendo's ke10, that sits upright, this car is a very fast track car with an upright 3k in it, its a really nice car, i think it has a new plate made on the back for the gearbox to bolt onto so you can still run the standard gearbox and it will sit in the right place cheers james

hi mate ive just started my new project te20, ive found a 2t with twin webers, extractors and a T50 n the back of it, the car I'm putting it in is a 1971 car witch the old owners set up for a 3t so it allready has all the mods for a hydraulic clutch and so on, they have moved the mounts on the crossmember foward and they have allready slottem the holes to fit the motor, they also made a little block bit for the gearbox crossmember so that the gear box can sit higher in the back to level it out, i have been told that you don't need to move the mounts foward or raise the back of the gearbox to put the motor in but it will make things easier, ive got a t18 diff to go into it and I'm using ke20 front struts with ke55 brakes and hubs so that it has 114.3 stud pattern I'm going to hopefully have the car ready to go by feb next year cheers james

the webers will fit on your current solex manifold so you can still use that

that looks really neat now, but the brown handbrake thing looks out of place, go to the wreckers and get a black one and she will be sweet as, seats look realy good to

cheers fellas, i might consider the rosejoints then, were do i get them from?? also i have heard people say that with there ke30's they used gj sigma LCA's first and they were to long so they might be the right length for ke20's??? just guessing though, i will have to do some investigating james

if your not using the strut inserts again or if there stuffed just cling some lock grips onto them and undo it, otherwise do what the above

ive seen that corona ute to, its an old guy who drives it, they actually came from the factory like that, pretty cool little things, would be cool with a 4age in it, i also discovered that they have the same front gaurd indicators as ke11's also saw a really nice sprinter a few weeks back, with massive dished wheels on it and it was white, looked really neat, had like driftr or some thing as the number plate

i will give this a go on my old crossmemeber to see how it works, ive got another crossmember anyway thats going in the car with proper mounts for a 2t and there moved foward to keep the motor off the fire wall, i will see how i go with this and if its not enough i will try some sigma arms, is it only GH sigma arms that i can use because i have access to a lot of sigmas but they are gk, gj and gn i think?? cheers james

id rather not go with rose joints as it will probably end up costing too much, how would ke30 ones be, are they any longer??? coln72: have you got any pics of the crossmemberas in were you drilled it???, I'm trying to do it on the cheap

with my old ke20 i just took the heater hoses off at the fire wall then just joined the two holes on the engine togeather with one of the bits of hose so there was no heater at all so i didnt have to worry about it
