  1. no not like the one you gave the link to, its got a slanty back on it, its sorta a cross between a ke70 and a t18, looked very cool, i think the bumpers off it were on the panel van because the panel van had chrome ones on it, its the same as AE25's car pictured on this page, http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?s...4598&st=105 the black one near the bottom I'm not telling were it is though, i want it :D
  2. spotted today, a nice white ke70 panel with widened stocko wheels, side pipe and chrome bumpers and also sitting in a garage a genuine te71, like the slanty back ke70 2 door things that never came to australia, looked a bit rough but would make a really great project car, but I'm not telling any one were it is :D all I'm saying is that its in the south of the state
  3. are they a standard corolla seat??? the front ones look like they are different to the ones ive seen, are the head rests of a different car??
  4. your engine mounts will need to be changed to suit the 4age, the t50 you got for the 3t will need a different bellhousind and another tail shaft i beleive, if the celica pedal box doesnt fit you will have to modify the stock one to suit aswell, also when you put you slave cylinder in for the hydraulic clutch you will have to move your speedo cable aswell because it goes right through hole thats there for a cylinder
  5. this doesnt allways work as some wheels wont have the big enough holes and they have a taper on them to suit a factory style wheel nut but the ones casey suggested would be better as they go further onto the studs
  6. i didnt know that ^^^, i also found out that a plastic grill wont bolt into an early car as they have different mounting points, my early car looks like it has been factory fitted with 6 leafs instead of the usaul 4 of my late cars
  7. I'm wrecking a ke30 2 door, most parts avaliable, http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?showtopic=11033 all gotta go so its going cheap
  8. my 72 ke20 had a banjo diff and so does my 73 car, not sure about the 74 car though my 72 car also had the longer late model tail lights and had a plastic grill like the 73 cars had
  9. is anyone elses car the same as mine, my 1972 ke20 had the id plate on upside down and so does my 1971 car but the 1974 one and the 1973 cars have them up the right way, is anybody elses car the same??? also my 1971 car has drums on the front but unlike the ke10 drums these are twin leading shoe ones so they have two wheel cylinders instead of just one also does anyone have a borg warner diff in their ke20??? my 1971 car has little pull down handles under the dash to open the airvents on the dash, it also has one of those grills with the small squares and the lines on the fuel door go across instead of up and down
  10. there is a guy whos on here but is mainly on toymods who has one in a ke20 (SUS 020) , his user name is PMP 020, do a seach and see what you can come up with about the conversion
  11. i agree with this comment, no one is making you go into the thread or click on the link,
  12. is the clutch cable adjusted right??? like have you pulled it right out so theres only a tiny bit of play at the bottom and then but the clips on? i had this proble with mine before i adjusted it properly,
  13. this car is looking great, everytime i look at the thread it inspires me to go and do some more work on my car, looks really neat to with the minilites on it, this is basically the same setup as my car is going to run but with 2t and celica struts, what did you do crossmember wise to get it in there, did you have to slot the mounts at all???? are you going to strip the sound deadner out of it???, did my ke20 last weekend and got aout 20kilos exactly of the stuff, two shopping bags full james
  14. why don't you get an ae71 van crossmember then???
  15. i saw a really nice looking ke20 when i was in launny today, orange with dragway four spokes on it and dropped down a little
  16. found this on cardomain looks tough, i was watching some old bathurst tapes the other day and saw what looked tike a te37 racing at bathurst, group C cars FTW
  17. mines got ta22 celica front struts that have been made so that you can wind them up and down using the standard springs and seats etc, they arent really coilovers but they are like standard ones that are adjustable, i don't know the numbers of any of it, they came in the ke30 2 door i bought as a donar car for my ke20, got lots of old school performance goodies on it, when i paint the ke20 it will probably just be a plain colour, i was also looking at a colour that came on morris minors, its a light blue colour and i think it would look bloody nice on it with the black bits, i havnt got anymore pics of the ke20 yet, but its just an early one with the small tail lights cheers james
  18. ive done the engine bay in my car and finished taking out all the sound deadner, got a new racing seat and picked up the donar car with all the engine and drivetrain etc, anyone got a suggestion for a colour?? i was thinking about doing it in the dirty burnt orangey brown colour that ke20s came in and with black along the bottom of the boot and on the bonnet and stone tray, got my nice struts now aswell, height adjustable with pedders heavyduty springs and new monroe inserts we need more ke20's in here, before the ke25's get us cheers james
  19. ^^^^^i will second that have had the datto upto nearly 180k's with cutties in the front, only problem was bump steel when i was slowing down ;) this car looks so nice even with the stockys on it, will look good on the hotwires, all it needs is a dellorto side draught now :)
