I'm gunna get the angle grinder out tomorrow and flip the leafs properley, i just put the bottom one on the top, gunna do it properly tomorrow wil get some pics did you connect both your lights up properly? i just plugged in the outside one, i will fix it tommorow cheers james

i tried it on my ke38 looks ok i spose i used corona lights and cut up my grill to fit allmost looks like a datto 1600 what do ya think I'm gunna just put some normal mirrors on the front gaurds

are these mounts ever going to happen?? i have all most got all my motr and gear ready to go into my ke11, just waiting on the mounts

hill climb was good today, saw a couple of people, klusio and his ae86, and i saw joshz18 driving around up there, i had a best time of 50.65, pretty average but not bad for my first go, i have never even driven on the road either, anyone else go they put a chicaine in up through the middle near the centre car park, was basically a drive straight through in a straight line thoug, was a fun day, I'm hopeing to do some more next year cheersw james me in the datto today

i don't see why they would be illegal, i think in tassie you can just run what ever wheels you want you should paint the bonnet black, the car is looking great, what exhaust are you running, gunna lower it????

cool, i might have a bit of a mess around with my new ke38 when i get it to try and fit some datsun 240k struts i have into it, just for a bit of fun, the only reason i used stock struts and stock springs etc is because i can't afford anything dear, i am just using what i allready have,

i have seen people use datsun struts in ke10's, i would like to know a bit more about it, my mates old ke10 had stanza front struts and a 100kw 4age, the struts were supposedly fitted with not to much hassel, anyone know about it I'm pretty happy with my standard ke10 struts with ke20 cut down coils and removed transverse leaf

this car is going to be really nice, i thought it was good before but now its gunna be a lot more fun with the bigger engine, i don't mind the wheels you have on it now

i had a bit of a mess around with a ke20 diff housing on the weekend, i used ke30 jap axles in a ke20 jap housing, and i used ke38 borwarner drums, will be a monster diff, ke55 drums should be enough for your car, they look to be as big or even bigger than the drums on the rear of a mated datto 1600, he runs a big L20 and it has no troubles pulling up, this car is looking really good, just need some bigger wheels, i hate 12" mags, i had them on my first ke20 when i bought it, put on silver RX2 wheels instead GL with it cheers james

i should be joining the ke3# wagon/van club very soon, when i go and get my new ke38, complete with cigarette butts on the floor and rust every were, still cool but

saw you driving through mornington thisarvo in the wagon, it looks great, the height doesnt look to bad, would look cooler if you lowered it more though

if i had my licence i would but I'm only 15 who needs a licence to drive anyway???? (joke)

the number is on the drivers side of the motor right down near where the box bolts to the motor, straight under the head any 4 cyl L series will fit, stanza, 180b, 200b, 1600, Series 1 & 2 bluebird and 2x4 720's all have L's

yes this motor does have that much power and shows it to, have been on the track with this car and you wouldnt think it has a 3k in it, but once your motor gets this big in the bores i don't really think its just a 3k anymore, maybee its a super 3k :lock: I'm suprised the k40 still stands up to the punishment cheers james

i just looked, i have the left hand guard with really good bottom sectoin and no rust, might need a tiny bit of work on the top part. i also have forsale some ke36/ke38 parts, one rear hatch, all doors, front gaurds from a ke30 series and front stone tray aswell, if anyones intrested PM me... cheers james
