  5. wtf is a steering wheel puller, i have never heard of one before, it sounds like a bit of a waste of money since you arnt gunna be using it very often, surley there would be somewhere you could go that has one and get them to do it???? but then how do you get home :ninja: well anyway it was worth a thought cheers
  6. has it got screws or allen key bolts holding the wheel to the boss? take off the centre , get a socket or a wheel brace with the same size as the nut holding the boss to the colum, undo that avout 3 centre metres so it sill will hold the boos on enough, now pull it as hard as you can untill it comes loose, undo the bolt all the way and take off the wheel cheers
  7. far out ke20's must be rare up there, i bought my black ke20 for $50 and it had a 4k in it and had mags, and a lot of good parts also, i should bring both my ke20's and all the parts i have up there and sell em all :ninja: good luck with her, tell me if i can help you out with any parts cheers james

  9. it could be the carby, with my car the revs were up and down all over the place all the time, so i got a spare carby and a carby kit , pulled it apart and soaked the jets and bowl in thinners then reasembeled it with the new gaskets and stuff and now it runs great cheers james

  13. that car is very neat and the paint looks in overrated condition the carby is a 32/36 weber down draught which u can get from ford 2l pinto motors or they go for around $80 on ebay plus an adaptor plate to suit a 4k. cheers james
  14. ouch!!!! that car looks extremly neat in the previous pics and would be a wicked sleeper, top ride mate, keep up the good work and i hope you fix her cheers james
  15. i think i will jsut leave them in that case cheers james
  16. yeah it is a ke25 one, it could actually go into the pic of the car u posted and the reason it is differnt is that the car u posted a pic of is only a ke20 and not a ke25 like the grill is from, is this the one from ebay that was advertised as fitting ke15 and ke17?? cheers james
  17. when building an L motor , in an L16 u use 240z and not 240k pistons because 240z ones are flat top and not dished like 4 cylinder l motors, putting an L18 head on a L20 is not really worth it as they have smaller valves, a L24 is a L16 with 2 more cylinders and L18 is L26 and so on. I'm with redwarf about keeping the L20 as i think it would be better in the long run and most 4 cyl l motors rev the same as my L16 will rev to 8000 and it goes up there a lot when I'm racing 80hp isnt much as an L16 was rated at 96hp from the factory??:P thats just my opinion and sorry for bringing up old threads cheers james
  18. are ke30 rotors the same as ke38 which have girlock calipers if so i might be intrested in them and if anyone in tas wants ke20 parts just tell me and i will see what i have, there is tail lights for early and late ke20's, panels, interior trim, exterior trim, mechanical parts and much much more cheers james
  19. u r a lot quicker than my PB at symmons, which is 1:17 but that was in a pretty stock datto 1600, looks like it was a good day, how does she handle and break??? cheers james
  20. i would be intested in some for my ke11 and i know some more people that would be intrested in them if you made a few sets, engineering doesnt really bother me as I'm in tasmania and my car doesnt go out much any way, have you got a price in mind??? cheers james
  21. is a 4k cam the same as a 3k one as i wnat to get one reground for my 4k but i want to have it all ready so i can take the motor out slip it in and put the motor back in i only have a spare 3k one will it fit and is it ok to use in the 4k cheers james
  22. ke1* and ke2* are the same, also some early mazdas might have some 12" wheels that will fit
  23. noooooooo that poor little 1000, what motor did it have in it? a15 a14???? do you still have it? far out that sprinter would take some pulling up with only ke20 discs, i have ke38 discs on the front of mine and i didnt need to drill the holes out they just fitted straight on and i used ke20 hubswith the ke38 discs backing plates and calipers here is the link in the FAQ http://www.rollaclub.com/faq/index.php?tit...ont_Disc_Brakes this is were i got the info to do my upgrade good luck with the little thing, does it still have the ke17 diff because i have busted 3 of them with only a standard 4k and had to upgrade to a ke20 one cheers james
  24. that car is so neat and awsome, it looks totaly origional on the outside but with big power, the ultimate street sleeper, but i noticed that there is still 12" wheels thereand theat means little brakes, have you done any brake upgrade on it yet, the group photo is wicked with the dato 1000 ke10 and the sprinter. i want one, good work on this car cheers james
  25. when i got a new clutch for my 5 speed it was different to a ke10 one, the 5 speed came out of a ke38 and was 21 spline cheers james
