a fella on the north west coast, hes pretty fast in it, was using it for hillclimbs and clubdays, but hes bought a new toy now, dare i say it........ better than the ke10 ;) this car is very very cheap though for what it is and how its set up, could go faster though with better brakes

just don't have any rear seat belts, my car passed inspection without them, and when i had a harness in it i put two holes at the back just under the rear window in the vinyl section and put metal under neath it and put my i bolts in james

i know of and have seen 2 different cars in tasmania, obe that was a 2 tone grey colour and one that was 2 tone blue, i reckon you should bring it over

you gunna run her at the collinsvale hillclimb this year???

if you can't be bothered spraying it with the gun, motors holden has a paint mixing thing in most of there spare parts stores and they can mix up any colour for you and put it in a can so it matches your car, doesnt come up to bad, i know a fella who did his whole rear gaurd with it after he welded some patches in and you didnt even notice it against the normal paint, but i don't know if they do it on the mainland

thats the same place as ive got my coil mounted, cars looking really neat, what are you using to paint it??? gun or cans??

this is basically the same set up as i have in my ke30 2 door except mines a 2t, with 45 webers, 4-1 extractors, electronic ignition, massive cam, 2 1/4" exhaust and t50, the thing apsolutly roars but you gotta get it up to about 3000rpm before anything intresting starts happening, you will have fun with her when shes on the road though

spotted anothe one of those te71's in mornington today, i can't beleive ive seen two of them now, neither of witch were on the road though, this one was dark blue

paint it up like this as a cop car, would be soooooo cool, but thats jus tmy 2c's oh and that wrighting has nothing to do with it, it was just a photo on google james

ok, i did some mesuring today of the ke70 and the ke38 diff will fit straight into a ke70 wagon or panel van with leaf springs, will check the seats some time next week james

DR1FT the motor i had my set up on was a dead stock 4k with a standard ke11 exhaust and a hot dog muffler, went pretty well but ended up going to dellorto side draught, i also ran a ram flo filter on the weber, but i ahvnt got any pics of it sorry, was before my digital camera the difference with the kent engine carbys was that they were a 32/32 carby not a 32/36 like you will commonly find on 2 litre cortinas or escorts,

mirriors make the car look shweet, would look cool in matt black, you just gotta drop it and get the hotwires on it

its just getting to the wreckers and finding a decent one in tasmania, as they are all closing down randomly, i will try some stuff this weekend

it may have been a better idea to post it in the fro sale section,ive got an idea thats why they made it

yeah you could get away with it but it would probably be better to jet it down, yeah you should be able to pick up one pretty cheap of ebay if you look around a bit, thats were i got mine from, i paid $80 with a ramflo filter and i had to buy an adaptor plate aswell james

cool, anyone know about the seats?? are ke70 strut tops the same as ke55??

but it looks to have normal ke70 steel wheels and it has the sprinter on the boot, its definatly a toyota and not a ford/mazda, might be some dodgy thing like i read about some guys in other countries putting mercedes fronts and backs onto HQ holdens, who know what it is

looks intresting, wonder if some one ran up the back of it so they chucked some laser gear on the back lol its really intresting though, i woulda left a note on there windscreen asking if they wanted to sell it james

i am wondering if the seats from a ke55 are a direct bolt in to a ke70? also wondering if the diff from a ke55 will fit a leaf rear suspension ke70 wagon??? or even if the centre will change over and are the rear leaf pack interchangable with the ke70 wagon? and the last thing is front struts from a ta22 that ahve been in the ke55, will they fit a ke70?? james
