  1. twin su's are cheap enough for l series motors on ebay now and you should be able to pick up a set of cheap old extractors for an L motor pretty easy, go for it man
  2. I'm doing this on my 5k, its jsut working out the linkages on it as the ones i ahve are ke10 and ke20 so they ahve different accelerator cables
  3. i run one in my ke70, seemed to stiffen it up a bit but watch it if you ever go 4age because mine made a nice little groove into the strut brace when you rev the engine, i havnt played around with a rear one yet. get a cage in the car while your at it, i put a basic 4 point one into my car and you woudnt beleive the difference its made
  4. they shoudl fit fine, they are the same design its jsut down to length
  5. yeah i will take your 4k aswell, will jsut have to work out when i can coem and get them, i might ahve ot do a k motor run to launny I'm still open to any of them if anyone has ne
  6. go fro it man, woudl be bloody awsoem, even stokc l20's get going allright especially in a tiny little rolla, if ya can get all the aprts liek engine, box mounts bit of tail shaft and all that gear it wont take much to chuck it all in and you could do it really cheaply, the only problem you might run into is the height of the l20 due to increased stroke, nothing a bit of a bulge in the bonnet cnat fix, and you may eventually decide to go back to an l16 or an l18 and they should fit fine height wise just my 2c
  7. hey man very intrested in the T18 struts as long as all the braking gear is complete, i will PM you don't ask about the 4k's fellas, I'm gathering them up from about the place for parts and to do up etc, i actually enjoy messing around with them, pulling them apart and putting them back togeather i will take anything i can get
  8. rolladore looks tuff as nick, same with the ke70 josho, t18 looks like a monster aswell you fellas will ahve to get to one on the latrobe motorkhanas next year
  9. the ke20 diff in my ke11 is a borgwarner, so you can use ke55 axles in that
  10. would be intrested in the 3k short motor and the seized 4k, will see what i can do to pick em up
  11. I'm after a set of old extractors for a 4k, anyone got anything? also after any free to very cheap k engines anyone wants to get rid of, not worried about condition, i can still use them for parts, anyone got anything? james
  12. the te series with the t series motor had a t50 gearbox so they had a hydraulic clutch, i ahve a complete ke30 hydro clutch set up i want to sell if your intrested PM me
  13. no, ke10 diffs are even narower, jsut put a ke20 diff in a ke10, it will stand up tot he power of a k series anyday
  14. i don't know what you ahve decided on yet for a diff but i would highly recomend getting a bigger diff, atleast a ke20 diff, the brakes are bigger aswell which is a bonus and they are a hell of a lot stronger, ive been through 3 in my car and the first one was with the 3k, they are jsut weak as, now i ahve a ke20 one and its the best thing i ever did to the car, this thrad is really good man, keep up with it james
  15. i chucked mine in the glovebox and left the stock am radio in its place, makes the car look more origional and draws less attention with the added bonus of not having to hack at the origional dash
  16. if you wanna stay with a stock carby, get a 3k bigport manifold with no pollution gear and a ke10 or ke20 carby jsut my 2 cents
  17. you need to change the front x member and the lca's to some thing with a single bar lca and with only 2 bolt holes at the bottom, take the transverse leaf out and get a sway bar kit at the same time, not really worth it, jsut take the brakes and everything off the ke55 and put it on your ke10 with some 13" wheels
  18. yeah simon, give me a ring, wont be around tilla fter about 4:00 though, give us a call anyway cheers james
  19. spotted a beige ke11 today in goodwood, made mum follow it for a while, was a dead stocker with a bit of a hit in the boot,

  21. yeah i reckon it looked uber neat once you cleaned it up with the csa's on it, watanabes are off tap though, awsoem find man
  22. ok i got a few sets of wheels to get rid of aswell, theres the 4 spokes in the for sale section a pair of 14x6 performance challengers a pair of 14x6 chrome 12 slotters a full set of 14x6 jellybean style wheels a full set of 13x5.5 jellybeans a full set of ke70 csx alloy wheels a full set of 14x5.5 ae82 csx alloy wheels a full set of bluebird trx wheels and heaps of stockers all except for the ae82 wheels are 114.3pcd just ask for prices or make an offer
  23. yeah, ok, need it all gone asap, if ya come and get it this weekend you can have the fmic and the turbo for $215
  24. and ke10's and ke20's (pre 74) had just a single pipe 4-1 style manifold with only 2 bolts on the flange instead of 3 like a ke70 has, so you want the mani from a 74-81 corolla, or a ke30-ke55
