  1. http://winterpalace.customer.netspace.net.au/ He has done it. Said it was crap.
  2. Well thats not what I'm told, when i click EDIT, it says: Your user name or IP address has been blocked by SORBS DNSBL. The reason given is this: Your IP address is listed as an open proxy in the SORBS (http://www.sorbs.net) DNSBL. You may contact SORBS DNSBL or one of the other administrators to discuss the block. Note that you may not use the "email this user" feature unless you have a valid email address registered in your user preferences. Your IP address is 141.168.0.45. Please include this address in any queries you make. Return to Main Page. SORBS DNSBL doesnt exist either...
  3. My is my IP blocked from the FAQ edit? (141.168.0.45) I have made heaps of corrections, and want to correct the Torana carby section, the 4cly Starfire are strasbourg's not stromburgs and are very differnt carbys, good performance for K engines as the are performance carby's for 4cly non-cross flow pushrod 2valve-per cly heads, and are suited to 1.2-2.2ltr engines. So if sum admin could tell me y, id appreciate it, or if someone else wants to make the corrections thats great, i hope u know all the info.
  4. Ill take 1 set please. Is that for a 7k-e manifold/runners/stuff? how much are they? and how much u recon it would cost for a turbo efi setup?
  5. There are 10sec ma61 supra's with 1g-gte's, but like that gem they rnt very drivable. NB: ther is also 9sec gem's with the stock block, so that doesnt say much :rocknroll: what about a intercooled turbo 40mm DCOE turbo 4k? (ie not draw through). That way u don't even have to shave the head, and it is way cheaper than a full conversion. I can even make up a 14sec figure for u! With struts and sus. all of a celica, and a live axel+lsd (from TRD) combo off a t-18?
  6. best tranny? W58? for a 3t? dunno if a w58 will fit, or if u can get the bellhousing to mate... EDIT, wont fit in a te71 tunnel ^ (i assume)
  7. Its an engine only, if i knew what car it was out of id know the engine, but i assume (hope) its a 3S-GE, so can u jsut try ST161 (celica)? Will any ST161's vin number do? Thanks, TOSCO
  8. So on ur rego papers it sayd 1300cc for ur 4k?
  9. yes :D poorly listed ad's my friend :y: don't worry, i take it they following numbers mean nothing. Ill jsut have to go inspect the good my self... Although, does anyone know if the cc on the rego papers is 100% correct? Or is is jsut estimated? EG: Mechanic - "Wells its about 2ltr, ill jsut write 1997cc", or do they find the engine number and say "3S-GE, well thats acctually 1998cc". ??
  10. So is ther anyway of know an info from the numbers after it? eg, "only a 1g-gt1 has a P7XXXX" or sumthing? or does anyone else have "UG4" or somthing close?
  11. Hi, i need some help with engine numbers: I know all the first ones, eg 3S-GE 3= 3rd vr S= block G= cam (either wide or twin) E= efi But what about the other numbers that come after, do they mean anything? eg: "UG4HFM551628" is quoted as an engine number, any ideas what this comes off/after? Thanks a lot, this is very important! TOSCO.
  12. Weber's are a very specific carby, and really only suit cross flow heads. "32mm Weber's" isnt very helpful though, but i suppose uve been advised to get the ones off old fords, which arnt really performance carby's, but better than other produciton carby's. DOCE on the other hand would kinda need twincam multivalve heads with custom exhaust. There is a Weber specialist in Sydney i use, and without touching my weber carby's on my old gemini (1.8ltr SOHC), got me an extra 16kw with a custom exhaust, its bends and length are quite differnet to the norm. U can buy a single DOCE into a 3/4k manifold (thats 1 weber off a twin weber set) and is supposed to be good, but i wouldnt bother unless i was planing to do a lot of other head work. (thats 40 - 42 - 45mm) On the other hand, there is a good Gemini Nikki Carby "how to" on this site, describing the procedure to stick them on a stock K intake manifold. Id say this is a good option, as it isnt a bad carby, and parts are really cheap. Nikki in running condition (out of a running car) will cost about $10. And a rebuild kit is about $60. Ive got a few spare Nikki's, and have rebuild a few as well, and compared to a set of Weber's its a joke for price. (Rebuild and tune for a pair of DOCE's is probably $600-$800
  13. Hahaha, thats exactly what my recycling bin looks like! Quality work.
  14. How do you search for car specific items in that site? eg ke70 rear?
