Weber's are a very specific carby, and really only suit cross flow heads.
"32mm Weber's" isnt very helpful though, but i suppose uve been advised to get the ones off old fords, which arnt really performance carby's, but better than other produciton carby's.
DOCE on the other hand would kinda need twincam multivalve heads with custom exhaust. There is a Weber specialist in Sydney i use, and without touching my weber carby's on my old gemini (1.8ltr SOHC), got me an extra 16kw with a custom exhaust, its bends and length are quite differnet to the norm.
U can buy a single DOCE into a 3/4k manifold (thats 1 weber off a twin weber set) and is supposed to be good, but i wouldnt bother unless i was planing to do a lot of other head work.
(thats 40 - 42 - 45mm)
On the other hand, there is a good Gemini Nikki Carby "how to" on this site, describing the procedure to stick them on a stock K intake manifold.
Id say this is a good option, as it isnt a bad carby, and parts are really cheap.
Nikki in running condition (out of a running car) will cost about $10.
And a rebuild kit is about $60.
Ive got a few spare Nikki's, and have rebuild a few as well, and compared to a set of Weber's its a joke for price. (Rebuild and tune for a pair of DOCE's is probably $600-$800
