  1. ae92 sx are very cheap nowadays, and come with the smallport 4age. probaby better to buy one of those (and get the better brakes, suspension etc).
  2. i have a surge tank, 2 pumps and 3 filters mounted in my boot and to get it past engineering i had to make a shield for it to protect it from getting knocked around by stuff in the boot (even though mine is always empty) did i mention thats the best colour corolla i've seen?

  6. if you absolutely have to use a 6 cylinder, and it has to be under 2.6 litres, get a BMW all alloy 2.5. ...but i wouldn't be planning a conversion based on certain bargain engines you can pick up - there is heaps more involved.
  7. there should be an oil pressure light in the ae71 dash.
  8. not sure how the oil light would then work, it may currently be triggered by the ECU when the OEM sender reaches a certain value. i have the OEM 4age sender hooked up to my ke20 oil pressure light and it glows brighter and duller depending on whats happening. i'm getting a VDO "sender/switch in one" unit so i can get my guage happening.
  9. there should be an ASC/DSC button. The E46 325i i drove at the driver training day had one.

  14. actually...5k (1.5) are from Lite Aces not Hi Ace and 7k((1.8) are from KR42 town aces not Hi ace.
  15. when i saw v-power racing at the shell servo it said it has ethanol in it. so its 100 RON?
  16. i have this setup on my car. they are short but will just go on. did you do it properly and move the leaf mounts?
  17. i know a guy with a 13bt in a ke20, he had it done before they changed the rules, many, many years ago.
  18. in some cars a strut makes a huge difference and some cars it doesn't do anything. depends on how floppy the body is. my mates r31's interior lights would come on during hard cornering because of body flex. a test was done on a e30 318is with a strut brace disconnected on one strut and some sort of marking system set up. the strut towers moved about 1mm during hard cornering IIRC meaning a strut brace is useless on those cars. not sure about the ke70...

  22. you can't even register a 12a in a ke20 in NSW.
  23. yeah, like when BMW put the le mans 750hp version v12 into the X5, lowered it and did the nurburgring in 7:50!
  24. not sure about SA but you can engineer a CA18DET in a ke20 in NSW. biggest turbo motor is a 1900cc.
