mate, what brake master cylinder are you using? i assume you've measured it up with the engine in the bay - there certainly isn't much room behind the inlet manifold in my ke20. i have the same motor as you with a cut n' shut manifold. i have an rx7 dual circuit master cylinder, only the fronts (ke55 solid discs) have the booster (vh44) and my engineer was amazed at how well it stopped.

and tell me that rice canon is temporary! other than that it looks the goods.

really like the orange '20s! where did you mount the booster? my mate hid his in the guard below the headlight.

i think the choice between 4age and ca18det depends on a) what sort of output you want from a standard motor b) what sort of mods you will do to the motor c) how much you want to spend d) all of the above e.g. i have put a smallport 4age in my ke20 and now i've decided to turbo it at extra expense which i'm more than happy to do. if i didn't want to spend the extra money i'd be negged and might be thinking i wish i'd put a ca18det in instead as i still needed custom engine mounts and modified gearbox crossmember and aftermarket engine management.

there is a bolt in rear swaybar for a ke20 on ebay at the moment. i think its probably to suit a standard ke20 diff though, :)

i used an NG Pajero clutch master cylinder, its small and fits behind the inlet manifold. my mate welded in a thickish plate to support the master cylinder so the firewall doesn't flex. you need some hard line and fittings.

i know a guy who built a carbon fibre toilet for a fancy yacht. the customer was billed over $20K for his troubles. ring www.tweakit.net, they make custom carbon fibre bits and bobs.

i was going to wait till my motor died then rebuild with either factory GZE pistons or ARIAS before upping the boostage.

i'm sure a late '74 ke20 which we were wrecking had retractable seats (possibly an option or end of line) i've used ke30/55 retractables in my '74 to get it engineered.
