  1. allow $$ for a surge tank / a couple of fuel pumps etc. or modify your tank so its EFI friendly. allow $$ for brake upgrade and $$ for decent rubber allow $$ for some nice seats, you won't want to be sliding all over the vinyl standard ones. allow $$ for getting it engineered / insured
  2. not sure how much your time is worth, but there are mobile dudes who will remove broken bolts and studs. might cost you $150 or so but you won't have to do anything but ring them. i found a broken engine mount bolt in my block when i got it and an ez-out worked just fine, but that was probably easier as its a bit bigger and the block was nice and stable to drill into.
  3. we use credit cards all the time, usually gets up to the $8k limit every month but we always pay it off and have NEVER paid interest. this way we get all those bonus shopping vouchers. some people get into a trap and end up paying interest every month and never pay off the principal.
  4. geez, u don't mind taking a photo do you....
  5. wow, thats cheap as. good luck with the car shopping you lucky bastard.
  6. thats near my old place - bungan head road, and the others are near whale beach.
  7. early mazdas have them.
  8. ba humbug
  9. i love this car, what tyres are on those saab rims? as for engineering, remember to say its a commercial vehicle (panel van) and you need the 13b turbo to deliver pamphlets on the weekends. its funny to see it still has that sticker and the transporter badge on the rear.
  10. the sx come in liftback (seca) and hatchback. they have 100kw at the motor compared to about 120kw (advertised, but usually less) than a GZE or 20V.
  11. stock diff welded up? k motor extractors? probably $500
  12. am i reading this correctly? how could you have never seen FCUK before?
  13. you should just by an ae92 sx. it will come with the good motor and all the nice bits from the factory. besides, they are so cheap as chips now (but not as cheap as the CS) it wouldn't be worth the time and $$ to convert a CS.
  14. i have a ke55 diff in my '20 with the swaybar mounts on it. i would need to make mounts on the car for the ends.
  15. time to rid yourself of all those other ones and concentrate on this beast.
  16. if you are definately going to uprgade the motor, then i would hold out for an ae71, that way you don't have to wait around until the x-member and mounts come up for sale. you will hopefully score the t-50 gearbox this way and so all you will need is the 4age motor, cut'n'shut the manifold (or wait for a rwd one), ECU etc. just my two cents.
  17. This is the Luce Rotary:
  18. trust me, i'm all for it. can't wait to see old cars with full electric motor conversions. i think we australians have too much of a "she'll be right" attitude when it comes to politics and our rights.
  19. please fix the link!
  20. my odeyssey cost around $300, it should easily outlast a couple of normal batteries so it works out cheaper in the long run. plus its really small, weighs less, sits in the boot without needing a vent to atmo. well worth it.
  21. Imagine the cost of replacing the batteries?
  22. twenty b twin turbo...?
  23. "Goods explanation:They are the peak of an J's light weight sports car, and the appearance of TE27 system Toyota Corolla REBIN. In addition to the intrepid body style which lessened the big exaggerated fender made from FRP of the feature and a big shell type mirror, and the plating part as much as possible, the noted opportunity and 2TG twin-cam engine which were developed for SERIKA were also reproduced. The circumference of a leg heaps up the image of a light weight sport further with a TOMUSU wheel, a sport steering, etc. (Automatically translated in English by fresh eye system.) " such friendry engrish!
  24. we bought an ae112r about 6 weeks ago. thank god for stat warranty (also has a 3 year warranty if we keep getting it serviced at the dealer) since then it has been back 3 times with the same problem - won't shift into gears. 1st time they removed gearbox and overhauled it (apparently) 2nd time they adjusted something (it lasted about a day) 3rd time lucky, still a bit crunchy but i think its fixed. Now my wife hates it and the car was for her!
