  1. you have one of the easiest cars to do a decent engine conversion on. start collecting 4age bits.
  2. divide MPH by 6 and then times by 10. e.g 60mph / 6 = 10. 10 x 10 = 100kmh 42mph / 6 = 7. 7 x 10 = 70kmh 36mph / 6 = 6. 6 x 10 = 60kmh they are the only ones you really need to know.
  3. i was using fedora on my last computer - gotta say LINUX is a lot quicker and well worth it. our laptop is still under warranty but as soon as its off warranty i'll change it to LINUX and get another computer to run our business accounting package on.
  4. intercooler now mounted differently my wedding ring got hooked up when i was coming down a ladder today i love tanqueray and bombay saphire

  7. why couldn't you have parked in the drive through?
  8. i'm into the new The Panics album lately. also enjoying the re-released Sasha & John Digweed Renaissance 3CD "the mix" from the very early nineties!
  9. i did physics for my HSC 10 years ago. certainly helped.
  10. yep, cold air induction. had to box off the pod filter with the oil catch can filter to pass engineering.
  11. mine has two at the top only and a drain at the bottom. one at the top goes to the PCV outet and the other goes to a small filter in the CAI box.
  12. bought the boost solenoid today. I am going to fit the knob on the left to the dash and use it for boost trim. its a $2 10k pot from jaycar.
  13. 86% for me.
  14. i'm a little disappointed that it is different to the pics on the T3 website (also a different colour). i will definately need to lower my motor at least an inch to fit this strut brace, whereas the pics on the website show the brace itself sitting about an inch higher than the strut bracket. I think its only a cosmetic strut brace anyway, since it is alloy. overall, though i'm happy - the price is pretty cheap and delivery was superquick from the USA.
  15. are you a fan of the carlos casteneda books by any chance?
  16. love the car, the plates are great too - what a statement! at first i thought it was a question, like "let me show you?" but now i see it more like "let me show you!"
  17. thanks for dropping off the part today Lindsay, it looks really good. i think i'll have to spray the strut tower bits though, the blue sort of makes it look like i'm trying to colour code the engine bay (i have a few silicone hoses which is a very similar colour). i think i'll do them black, maybe in the wrinkle coat paint. cheers again. the T3 (techno toy tuning) strut brace for the ke20 has plenty of adjustment (for anyone who stumbles across this thread through google)
  18. don't worry i looked again and saw the slave cylinder position - thats for a rotary, right?
  19. whats the bellhousing for? not a 4A by any chance?
  20. looks ok i reckon. sort of like the 'blades' of the rims are heading into the centre of the car.
  21. looks tough in matt black.
  22. No worries, but what do you think of the cam cover?
  23. probably won't get passed by an engineer, having said that; my car got passed with ke55 discs and a remote brake booster (smallport 4age)
  24. what, 16? i'm 27. :( and i don't have wrinkles!
