  1. bricked it up? why? i don't really see the point if he loved it that much surely he would want to at least sit in every now and then. i know two mates dads who have a 3rd gen rx7 and '94 wrx both immaculate with less than 10 000kms which just sit in the garage.
  2. i think all exhaust ports are the same but the studs may be in different positions, some one here will confirm i'm sure.
  3. i got magnacore.
  4. sx and gti can look cool if bone stock.
  5. do a home service and then sell it and buy the gti or sx if you want more FWD action. otherwise look for a ae86 or something cool.
  6. big port = 86kw t50 won't fit onto 4agze unless you change the flywheel
  7. don't want to post their name up for obvious reasons, but i'll explain when you ring me about the ECU. They are maybe a little more expensive but more relaxed about things.
  8. only if you don't find a good engineer. you may have to get a charcoal canister and catalytic converter too if you use a 'by the book' dude.
  9. for the engine bay shot, you could throw a hairdryer in there and put some "garrett" sticker on it.
  10. i'd say its a custom jobby. u from the US?
  11. there is a yellow ke55 with a 3tgte down this way too.
  12. ?? 5500rpm sounds kind of soft.
  13. a mate of mine who did this conversion years ago found the firewall flexed quite a bit.
  14. Looking good! are you reinforcing the clutch master at all?
  15. i realise that, jip01 had said it could be driven from either side and i was trying to be sarcastic. :( that said, european cars are still built for all markets many being left hand drive which is why i said the dash could be programmed for us to drive it with the left hand on the joystick.
  16. no, not the australian ones. They wouldn't allow them turbo here. "Its 3.0-litre SOHC engine received extractors, a high-flow exhaust, a new camshaft, headwork and an ECU remap to produce a total of 130kW. The brakes were also upgraded to Japanese Turbo-spec and the suspension was thoroughly revised as part of the package. Following this model's considerable success, a Series 2 version of the GTS was released in 1989 with a claimed 140kW under the bonnet; the Series 2 is most easily identified by its red paint, white wheels and updated styling." from: http://www.autospeed.com/cms/A_1678/articl...?popularArticle
  17. you want my 12" stockies chris?
  18. the rx7 brake master cylinder was modified by Tweakit to run remote reserviours so as to clear the inlet manifold. I want to get it engineered. Can anyone suggest any engineers who are relaxed and cheap? I just want to get the engine and brakes listed really and not have to pay to get steering wheel, seats, gearbox, crossmember, diff, unleaded filler neck, charcoal canister etc. I have a catalytic converter of a nissan GTS-t.
  19. a friend of mine has a GTS1 r31 skyline which is now turbo'd. it hammers even on 5psi.
  20. ^^ maybe, but then you could get some good pistons and turbo it with the haltech.
  21. what diff are you using?
  22. my friend has a ke55 diff which he made to fit the ke20 with the 110 stud pattern, i remember helping him drill out the hubs with a hand drill and making them nice with a file, i'll ask what else he did.
  23. you would have to ask the passenger (if you had one) what speed you were doing. I guess the screens could be programmed to show the speedo gear on whatever side.
  24. "collaborate and listen" and "hammertime" written on stop signs is pretty cool. am i showing my age?
