Well considering this thread is on the 3rd page i definetly need a update!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Diff is out again getting some customising :hmm: and a future path for some 315mm twin spot brake upgrade :D(just not yet) Gearbox crossmember finally finished and bolted up. Painted that underbody protection paint under here after seeing it on micks ke30. Looks much better. I Rolla with the added touch Also a picture i took a few months ago when i got her legal. More pics of the diff upgrade when its done. Also look into a setup to lower the risk of axel tramp so i can run soft shock setting with no axel tramp. Its called Caltracs.
-
if i had my car already to go i would do anything to make this happen however with out alot of people coming it will reduce the other people from coming. if that makes sense????
-
if its been welded you will need a completly new/unlocked second hand centre and swap it over.
-
Hey peoples. I wish i knew about this earlier or more so if the date was later :lolcry:. I just pulled my diff out to get the twisted axel fixed. I'm hoping i can get her to this cruise however i should be in micks ke as he is super duper keen.
-
dammit lindsay you shoulda put this up on toymods i would have grabbed one. they are adjustable arent they?
-
Interview looks great. You can even see my car in it. No helis untill the diff is worn in please. Then time for synchronised heli's. :hmm:

I believe your old smashed rolla is in fast fours. Very small story on ya. I'm sure you would know though
-
Does the ke25 bellhousing fit the ke20 engine firstly? secondly align the clutch with a broom handle, or the proper way with a clutch alignment tool. Bolt her up. :) Good luck!
-
R31 skyline diffs are 4x114.3 same as the ke70 rollas :P
-
Custom ones welded up by AJPS. On the first page. Xt130 struts coil-over kit on them
-
Dude........... Fark yeah! That is all.
-
Purchase this today from SA Xtreme Clutches All on just need to fit the box and do a bit of welding. Flywheel: $370 weighs 4.7kgs (standard i think is 7) Clutch and Plate $500 New Gearbox Crossmember nearly complete, just needs two tabs for bolting up
-
thanks dude. really appreciated. One day i will get the cooler into more sleeper spec but with cost to re-do piping and coverup holes vs leaving it there and running high PSI with a larger cooler. Still not decided yet. Soon as i crack 200-240kw ATW i will settle down a bit with it and just enjoy it.

The defect list is far too long to list. Just things like oil leaks and no engineers, mini-spool. Shes not been round town much lately. Just on long drives :) not atm though, needs a new clutch. she should be back rolling on sat.
-
Yeah i could use the gze setup but the word on the street is that the 215mm setup is better and easier to setup a high-clamping force.
-
Id guess it is. But if you look at the dyno sheet the psi bleed off to 15psi :lolcry: thats why i need a ebc.
-
So we are now at present looking for a new clutch. I really want a twin plate however i can justify $1600 for a clutch ATM. Getting the larger flywheel the 215mm with a custom setup this weeked. Hopefully get it all in and wsid next wednesday. But we'll see how things go.

Next part Because the rolla got defected for 10 things i had to fix everything up quickly. Remember it has the mini-spool in the borg warner diff. Well i purchased a KAAZ 2 Way LSD from ebay quite cheap and took it to Bosnijak Engineering at Wetherill Park. He installed it for me with new bearing and seals for 600. After getting the rolla regoed, engineered and fully insured, she is now seeing more of the open road. New Specs of the 4agze: Ae92 Smallport 4agze purchased from Flynsx (or possibly his mate) Same inlet and exhaust manifold and same turbo. Mild Port of the inlet ports Standard 4agze Cams. Arias Pistons Shot-Peened Rods ARP rod bolts and head bolts New Toyota Oil Pump, Water Pump, Timing Belt Recoed Starter Motor All new Welsh Plugs Every Gasket and Seal New O-Ringed Block with a RidgeCrest Copper Headgasket. 7MGTE Injectors Same Clutch and Flywheel combo from previous motor. Dyno tune readout Engine as it sits today: New Wheels: SSR SP1's 16's 7.5" 205/50 Front 8" Rear 225/50 Toyofest Pics: Took it to the drags on the 10/10/07 This is my first run with the new box and engine I broke something on the burnout and could no longer select any gears. After getting second and third gear and doing a 16 second pass i get back and look her over,as you can see it here I'm trying to fix it. The reason why we drove it home and not had another go.

Next part of the Saga: The t50 gearbox didnt feel particularly good when slamming it for second gear burnouts so i had to bite the bullet and get a supra gearbox. I had already purchased a Niteparts Bellhousing from the toymods group buy and was just awaiting a supra box to come up for sale. Put all the good gear in after getting a slightly shorter tailshaft made up and a yoke change. She was all ready to go to WSID again. On Anzac day i had i bit of a big one and didnt get home till 12:00pm. The racing started at 8:00am. That morning we also had to finish fabricating up a gearbox crossmember. So my brother got busy and a few bits of steel and lots of weld later, he was driving her down to WSID. I met him down there just as he lined up for the next run. Wound the boost right up, heated the tyres up on a 2nd Gear burnout (on a prepped track) Burnout: She ran a 12.7 on 104mph 1.8 60 Foot. Super Happy. On the return road the starter guy came over and gave as one of the bellhousing bolts which was left on the line after the burnout. LOL. So i flogged one out of my ae82 which i also had at the track. Away she went. I went to get a drivers pass after many minutes of fkn around. I jumped in got all sorted and then lined up. Well it started to rain and it got called off. :lolcry: So i havent driven it yet with the new supra box at the runs. After that 12.7 run she started to blow some smoke. Still went really hard but on piston 3 there was 30psi. LOL Reason for this.... Quick Engine Swap with a fully built Engine i purchased then had to rebuild because pistons were around the wrong way and the copper head gasket was dodgey. New Engine: A few weeks later she got Defected in Penrith (Shes all regoed insured and Engineered now though

Dyno read out from the Dyno Tune: Brake Setup: Interior:

Next stage of the Saga: Purchased a Diff from AE35GT which is a Borg Warner 75 series with Drum Brakes and a mini-spool. We wacked that in there along with a second T50 gearbox because the first one sheered 2nd gear completly off. Took it to the drags again: Best time on street tyres on 12psi was 13.4 at 104mph 2.2 60 foot Next Wednesday straight down to WSID again: Now on 15psi with street tyres. Best time 13.06 @ 104mph 2.0 60 foot

This is the best picture i can get out of the 4age manual, if you go to toyota they should be able to find it on their electronics parts catalogue. Third picture down. The thing just above the crank pulley.
