  1. Do you have a trolley jack? If so, stick the trolley jack under the diff on the diff centre. (of corse with the body it self on jack stands. preferably a solid point) jack the diff up but not high enough to lift the car off the jack stands. Unbolt the leafs from the cars and all brake gear. Un-bolt tailshaft. Lower trolley jack with diff centre still on jack and pull jack outwards towards the rear of the car.
  2. i meant here as in "in my situation"
  3. Didnt need a weigh bridge ticket here.. or a brown slip

Good luck with it buddy! can't wait to see it leaving the ground.....
  5. Hopefully! I have driven it to work for the last two days.. I need more powah!
  6. Needs to be bought! http://toymods.net/forums/showthread.php?p=733107#post733107
  7. Well i have been lazy and not update this so i guess i should with the current specs shes got now. I'm pretty much close to what i have in mind for this girl. Just need a larger turbocharger and some camber tops. Oh and that illusive 11. Heres some things which i have done in the last few weeks. Fixed the god-damned oil leak from either back of gearbox or shifter housing. I have no idea where it was coming from so i made both things unleakable. Got the tailshaft made slighlty longer. (thanks to linden aka road runner supplying me a new front yoke) Also purchased a new shifter housing gasket (comes with spacers) from toyota. Not cheap but needed it. I really need to get a trade card. I also have fixed an oil drain issue i was having. I was happy with the hose rubbing on the engine mount so i fixed it a bit better. I have overhauled the whole front end. Every bush and balljoint. Also i had the steering box reconditioned. Just got an alignment about 20minutes ago. I also have got the brake booster and the hilux front calipers reconditioned and a brand spanking new brake master cylinder. I have also got new braided brake lines all round now aswell. If it doesnt stop on a dime now i wont be happy. I'm planning on hitting wakefield asap however with the recent works money is a bit tight. So I'm opening it up to fate. I'm number 6 on the waiting list for the june day so we'll see what happens. EDIT: I'm now listed just have to pay. I was going to enter in the sports compact attack sunday but i would want to tune and her i don't really have the cash for that atm either. No point running it i don't think untill the new turbo is on. I think its best will be around 12.5. Oh i also have cleaned up the engine bay a bit. Removed the fuel filter from behind the strut tower and i have relocated the charcoal cannister to under the front guard. I have also fitted a whitline 20-21mm front swaybar and linking kit! For a good price. This aswell as a rear swaybar i got when i purchased the diff of AE35GT originally. I'm not sure what it is off but i have to weld some angle brackets onto the chassis rail and play with some swaybar links and bolts to get it to bolt up to the brackets. For some reason one side of the swaybar is lower than the other. Meh it works...i think. Would the rear swaybar help out with axel tramp? Being connected to the diff housing? Seems to grip a bit better. That is all for now i think....
  8. doesnt matter bout insurance anyway. the v6 thats in there isnt engineered is it? don't want to remind insurance about that if it is covered.
  9. I have got defected in NSW for not having reverse lights working. So i assume that you need them.
  10. the one closest to the radiator.
  11. I would say the 4age with kms on it is more likely to leak oil than burn oil. Leaks from the dizzy are pretty common. Is there smoke or is it just needing topping up constantly?
  12. Yeah i bought some too. Looks slightly different. They have a plastic sleave over the whole thing. Also the part which bolts to the strut can slide up and down the line. Possibly different join on yours to mine.
  13. hey buddy with your braided lines how did you get the clips back onto the lines to hold it on the bracket on the strut? Are they the stock ke30 brake line clips or aftermarket? I can't get mine to sit there. A closer pic or detail explanantion of what u have to hold it there would be tops!
  14. There is a track day happening on the 20th of june. Just to let you know. If you want in you need to look up the details on toymods in the events section. I'm not 100% i can make it so, so far I'm out... i would only know closer to the event and then it might not be possible to get in as it will be full.
  15. Your Ke70 looks so clean! I love that photoshopped picture. Being that low might not be ideal but close to would still look great. Nice ride buddy!
  16. Looks like ur using A W5* gearbox. What bellhousing?
  17. very nice! looks overrated
  18. Wow that dark blue 2door is amazing! Can i buy it?
  19. Welding cable. Go to a welding shop and have a look at what they have. They use a orange solid cable for earths on large mig welders. Use that. I did.
  20. Could also go down south to like jambaroo area. Few windy roads and great country side. Go into kiama. Only problem is its a touch far. Also could go mountains way to lithgow or alike. That might suit you harvo :)
  21. 3 inch is a good size for the 4agte. However in the old school corollas it can be a PITA! I would suggest going under the diff by the looks of your setup. You just need the right skills to keep it legal height. Put atleast three joins in the exhaust makes removing sections much easier. Could you end it just before the diff and put in a dummy section? A few cars use this method. Engineering could become an issue if its not already.
  22. Also can tell around what year with if the front radiator crossbrace is welded in or bolt in. Yours looks bolted... Almost all 55's had weld in\.
  23. So i guess you sorted out the dizzy issues? :nervous: Hope so i wanna see this next to mine at the track |blink|
  24. Thats overrated. Unlucky about the commodore engine getting stuck in there though. :nervous: Not my pick but not my car is it. |blink| Nice rolla buddy. Is it a 30 or a 55? Because its a 55 dash and a 55 master cylinder.
  25. Well done mate. Good price too.
