  1. Is that YOUR car? cause whats with the FMIC?
  2. Is the 2dr ke30 tailshaft the same length as the 4dr one? I'm guessing yes.
  3. Would this be another reason that it could have been pinging?
  4. If the wiring is different just swap the rear casing(part which holds the globes) from the k30 into the ke55 ones.
  5. The boot isnt 100% sealed especially a ke35. Look behind the back seat. Just some black(fire matting i guess) material. Holes for drainage down the sides and boot would be filled with enough oxygen to do some damage especially if a car hits you and rips the side of the car off.
  6. And who wants to test that?
  7. all i can say is fark me that nice. Any engine bay pics?
  8. Not worried about the surge tank being close to the side of car.? On impact kA-BOOOM
  9. From what i have read and experiences from others, skyline is 28spline however the pintara skyline is 25 spline. :P
  10. LMAO fixed.
  11. heres my ke30 skid. Only small had to test the diff out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hhv34mSkImc LMAO sorry
  12. Well i have been researching this for my ke30 recently. Hilux diffs 70's model around 1370mm wide and to fit into a ke30 you need to move the leafs out a little and it bolts up. Later model diffs i heard are stonger but also longer. 1410mm for 80's model You can also go r31 diffs, they have discs on rear standard, easy to get lsd's but needs shortening and custom axels. However it does have 4 stud same as rolla.
  13. Well i got the xt130 strut bare and sent it away to david lawson in adelaide. His email is : [email protected] Also his website is www.ajps.com.au he does alot of drifting setups but he will be able to help you. I then found some hilux calipers from toymods and got some new pugeot discs. then the brake place machined them down for me. Most brake places will do it, but they will also explain that there is no warranty one modified at all. With the coil over setup, I'm using 6kg springs. About the hardest you would want to go for street unless drifitng. you can also get 8kg and up to 12kg i think. If you ask david some questions he explains it alot better than me. The spring tops will only need to be custom if you get some adjustable camber tops and most will foul on the spring hat. Hope this helps. PS. I'm not sure how much this setup will stop( horsepower wise) So being a v8 I'm not sure if this will be good enough. You may need something bigger. I think this is good for arond 260kw atw.
  14. Check this thread out for the corona upgrade http://toymods.net/forums/showthread.php?t=13803 I have done this. The only thing needed to be done is to shorten the strut or go coil-overs which i did.
  15. mate that looks excellent! i wish mine had those looks. IMO don't go the v6 try something not so front heavy. But what ever you do, good luck wth it.
  16. well i have the alt on the drivers side. Maybe thats the difference???
  17. Yeah I'm not having any problems with the alt. I'm using custom brackets with modified vl and skyline rubber mounts.
  18. dude did you search? i posted one up about 1 month ago a ke55 gregorys one. http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?s...;hl=ke55+wiring FFS
  19. Just want to know if you are using original strut top? Did you have problems bolting the nut to the shock? Mine is running out of thread before tightening.
  20. Top effort. Damn you work quick.
  21. Arent the ra60 struts too long putting out the steering geometry.??
  22. I'm thinking its the rubber lines. Do you have these in the ke70?? I'm taking the wildest shot but i had ra60 struts in my ke30 and i was using the same rubber hoses that came with the struts. I had the same problem i think your describing. I think it was leaking between the metal join and rubber join in the bracket, but no fluid was coming out. Try this at absolute last resort.
  23. Wreckers??? Get three and you should get a good one out of three.
  24. I might have a ke30 one if you want it. Just pay postage and you can have it. I'm in NSW
