  1. Good link, I have all of toyota's paint codes in a binding but it does not have the year for it. OP - So there is no random 3 digit code on the tag?
  2. Yeah, Maybe a bit more, The pic you posted looks like the rear is lifted slightly.
  3. Yeah so I am saying don't mount them so the intake is 100% horizontal.
  4. So it is on 10 as soon as it reaches TDC or are you letting the engine rotate slightly?
  5. Make sure that when you mount them that they have a good angle as they almost sit the same way that the photo was taken.
  6. On my bike they just have a hose that goes straight up and loops over a clip on the airbox, I will have a look on the fzr website but I am pretty sure they just allow the diaphragm to move with ease.
  7. Are you sure you have the dwell of the piston correct?
  8. Fiat 500 MK1 Cortina 2 door And the many vw beetles I see there please :jamie: The car I would really love 99% of the people would not know, As a hint - It was made in Brisbane and there is one at the QLD museum.
  9. Ok, I thought they were from like a large FZR as they have a different slide setup as mine, Mine are the same but with slide venturies and butterfly throttles. The outer 2 hoses are just breathers.
  10. Are they mikuni's off a yamaha? Look very identicle to the ones on my bike.
  11. If it is still there then grab it.
  12. Yeah like an SU, Maybe a 7ke manifold could be used then.
  13. Welcome.
  14. Thanks Simon, You know that my KT vs 4ag discussions was to do with a modified K to a standard 4ag tho remember :jamie: With the 4ke manifold I would use the whole thing and I would mount the carby where the throttle body is mean to go.
  15. The speed sensor pins are in the same position and Johno used the twincam dash and wiring harness so the speed signal should be working. I also checked, Your ECU is certainly a JDM AE92 unit: http://www.romut-radalle.com/toyecu.php
  16. Johno your ecu is known as a JDM hi comp ecu which was 130hp or 97kw (I think they called it 100kw still) compared to my ADM red & black top bigport which is an 88kw. http://www.ae92gts.com/ae92gts_jdm_hc_ecu_pins.html
  17. They supposedly have a 100kw ecu like the smallport.
  18. The AE92 bigport was apparently also based on 100kw.
  19. Well I am at my wits deciding what to do, I have my AE82 twincam that I wanna use as a donor for the sedan (have not got the sedanas yet) but after hearing how sweet the gilmer drive sounds on Taz's rolla and always been a fan of ke30 4 doors I am thinking that I should use the twincam to complete the mrs car and get a ke30 4 door. Now the plan would be to get a 4ke manifold and adapt it to have a blow through carby in it's place (reason for the 4ke manifold is to keep the inlet opposite to the turbo to keep piping neater), Turbo would be a T25 from a Z32 on a manifold I will make, I'd prefer to stick a 4k in it as I have always had a soft spot for 1300 motors and have a K50, Now my dilemma is that I like both the AE82 sedan and KE30 sedan ideas and I really can't make up my mind.
  20. As I said, The old ECU was most likely corrupted with fault codes too. Johno I think the real test would of been with a JDM AE86 ecu too. So umm anyone wanna tell me that a JDM ecu is better :bash:
  21. Just had a read of this thread, You need to connect VF to terminal T. VF is the 2nd one from the left on the bottom of the 18pin plug. T is the 6th one from the left on the top plug of the 18th pin. Dave, Yes the AW11 and AE82 have a different timing mark, The AW11 has a single pin to show TDC.
  22. Stop counting the blades of grass in your yard and get out more :bash:
  23. No dramas, It was a big WTF when mine 1st did it, I can supply a video too if you wanna see it.
  24. Try reversing to get the needle to slip, Sometimes my speedo goes backwards when I reverse.
  25. Thanks Johno, Although Ii don't do it for the thanks at the end, I do it so I can see another member excel (BAH NOT HYUNDAI) in something they are capable of doing but can't quite figure it out, It is always good to have someone show you direction.
