Did more today and now for the fun jig saw puzzle like part... Step 9: Get various steam pipe bends (tight and wide) as well as some more tube. Step 10: Start by making an outer runner 1st (tac weld only). I started with number 6. Then number 5. Then number 4. Now onto number 1. Then 2. Finally number 3. Step 11: Test fitted the manifold so the external gate pipe can be sorted (looks hawt :lolcry:). Also put the turbo on for photo purposes. Step 12: Tac weld all joins (apart from the collector and head plate) so they don't move or come apart. Step 13: Remove the runners so they can be fully welded: I think I will be finishing it tomorrow pending other work.

It has been a while since I updated this, I finished the above turbo manifold and other fabrication and put it on the 33 (will take a pic tomorrow if I remember) so it is now all sweet and running but today I started on another manifold so I thought I would get some step to step pics to show you how I make one. Step 1: Cut 6 bits of tube and cut them at approx 45 degrees (6cyl only) and die grind the sides, This will make the collector. Step 2: Start by welding the collector tubes together in a set of 3 (2 sides of 3). Step 3: There will now be 2 sides of the collector tac welded. Step 4: Linish the bottom of the collector halves so they are flat. Step 5: Weld the 2 halves fully and then weld them together. Step 6: Put the head plate on the engine and position the turbo where it is going to go with the turbo plate and weld a brace on. Step 7: Cut the collector to length and flange width. Step 8: Tac the collector to the turbo flange. That is as far as I got today but I will continue the steps until it is complete.

My mate owns a AE93sx and wanted to get some shit done so he took it to my workshop and this is what we did: Replace clutch & machine flywheel. Replace cv boots and clean out the old grease. Swap the front LCA's. Remove fuel tank to access rear suspension and change all bushes. Strip the dizzy and replace bearings/seals. Replace rotors and brake pads. Compression test. Swap steering wheel. Fit new bushes to front end. He supplied parts, The car took up the hoist for 2 days and there was approx 16 hours spent on it, We also paid to have the flywheel machined and got a throw out bearing to replace the wrong one in the clutch kit, Our hourly rate is $88 so there is: $1408 in labour. $44 for the flywheel machine $25 or so for the throw out bearing (didnt see the invoice). Anyway it comes to $1477 and because he is a mate I squared up the invoice for $1185 and he thinks he got ripped off and it shouldn't of took that long.

Still running around in the AE82 seca after 2 kids, Plenty of room.

Obviously a lot of you have never seen the potential of a turbo commodore V6, They actually do just as well if not better then the 300zx twin turbo but then again the 1/2J's fit in there pretty good.

Do what I do and hold it on the limiter, They soon shut up.

Not hard to change at all, Pull the bearing out and take it to a local bearing shop.

They were still there last night but I managed to get 180k's out of the tank before I hit reserve (which is pretty good) and the bike was not being ridden slowly, I took it apart today to do a oil and filter change and thought I'd do an exhaust heat test by hand to see if it was running on all 4 and found that number 3 was cooler than the other 3 (lean) so I adjusted the mixture screw and shut the bike off, I tested it 5 mins later and they felt equal but I think I'm going to get 4 lambda meters (o2 sensors) and put one in each pipe and tune it, Well I will see how it is with todays tune.
