Toyota hex bolts are reusable, is the cap screws that you have to worry about. Just inspect the ones you have for stretch.

Seats have been cut and the valves faced, now the head just has to be faced.

I got all the engine external parts cleaned up and repainted and also flushed out the rad and heater core. The other head vacuumed up good on all bar 2 valves so I will take them all out and clean them up. Some more pics.

We decided to buy yet another 82, this one being very very tidy for its age. The rundown: 85 model CSX. Auto, air, steer. 237000ks. Engine rebuilt at 18****ks - 10 years ago. Very clean interior. New suspension. New cv shafts. New rear muffler. New starter. New rear wheel cylinders etc. I got it with a blown head gasket and found that the cause is a corroded head that overlapped the firing ring on the cylinder, I have another head here at work so it will be cleaned up and put on. The pistons are .5 (.020) oversize and the bores and exceptional.

Atleast go 185, thething with running neg offset on an E7 is you have to put some stupidly small tyre on it to make it fit. I will just stick with my positive offset 215's...

Actually I just looked at the MSDS for the one I used to use many many years ago and it states MMT.

How much advance are you running? Yes you can get a yellowish discolouration on the plugs from running octane boosters but I don't think it is from MMT as the ones I have looked at don't list it. One option is to just retard your timing a bit.
