  1. Ha, proper shopping lists have been around for 10 or so years, surprised there isn't more.
  2. IN LOVE
  3. Not powered by a Toyota.
  4. In the Toyota pile?
  5. You really are doing it the hard way, if you buy the engine then try to track down a twincam that someone has pulled the motor and box out of or has a stuffed motor because you will need the rest of the twincam gear.
  6. Similar to the trailer that I was looking to make out of my red seca but without the front doors.
  7. Adjustable coil overs. HKS SSQV give you a flutter sound on low boost opening.
  8. Nah this one is a Nissan :P (and yes there actually is a difference which I found out the other day, datsun = early, nissan = late). Nah it is floor shift. 620's are nice, phil keto on here is right into 720 utes aswell, he is about to get back into his, sweet.
  9. http://www.rollaclub.com/faq/index.php?title=Series:A/Model/AE80/82/Converting_To_Twincam In all honesty, you can buy a twincam corolla for under 900 bucks and if the shell you have is something you want to keep then pull all of the twincam gear (link above) out of it and put it in your shell, the C50 will fit and has no dramas copping a hiding behind a GE.
  10. Ha, happy b'day.
  11. So we going to ute it up?
  12. WGMMFG's: People that say they want to get coil overs and bucket seats, ffs you stupid f@$king twat, those single seats in the front of your car are called 'BUCKET' seats, those struts in the front of your car are also called 'COIL OVERS' (short for coil spring over strut). I blame the un-educated drift scene for this shit and it is really f@$king annoying. f@$k off with your shit.
  13. SX11's come up on eBay every now and then, the last one was at an import yard at Redcliffe, maybe ask someone to import one for you.
  14. KEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN!
  15. 4ac but 500 bucks bought me a complete twincam to use, if you wanna get technical then look at my old 4ag ke70 panelvan, sure it was not finished but I had only spent 2k (including ecu, gearbox + rebuild, manifolds and carbies) and it was a running/driving car.
  16. 500 bucks to convert my mrs seca to a twincam...
  17. Don't take too much out as you can't replace it cheaply, try not leave dips/ruts and points in the surface, give the port separator a bit of a smaller profile as well.
  18. Can you get pics of the setup to see if you have left anything out?
  19. It is actually quite clean from what I looked at aswell, didn't look too hard as it wasn't a 32 and I was having a quick look for parts for my ute.
  20. Be prepared to want to work quick if it is a busy shop, went to the local tyre shop the other day to get 2 new 4x4 tyres, the foreman grabs the young kid and says (brand size etc) 10 minutes, he did it in 14 and this is one hell of a busy workshop.
  21. Many people have told me to go flat black, I could not push myself to do it, I will be removing the wheel centre caps and most likely lowering it a little bit thanks to phil-keto :D Also some evil thoughts have been crossing my mind lately, have been thinking about buying a cam and sidedraft for the ute and having this as my toy and just building the 4agte and putting it into the auto seca when the mrs gets her P's.
  22. Nice buy there mate, there is one at the local wreckers up here so if you need something and can't get it local then let me know and I can check it out for you.
  23. Americans really are f@$king stupid.
  24. Starter motor is stuffed, if the solenoid is clicking and there is no rotation, common sign of a dead starter. A relay is a band aid fix for a dying starter, the older they get the more voltage they require and if wiring was failing because it was old then everything in your car would be failing.
