The only thing I can't stand being on TV all the time is this royal wedding shit, I don't give a f@$k if they are getting married and I am sure that most other Australians don't either.
-
As said the other day Doug, I am still keen and wanna go but just gotta make sure I can make it.

Replace the scoop with a hornet scoop and mount the throttle body on top of the cam cover so it sits in the scoop, just use a small foam filter on the end of the TB, the driving power is crazy. LOL, if you get pulled over and they ask what it is doing there just say that you can't afford filters so you strapped a bean can there.

Let you know at the end of the day when I go through the rest of my stuff as I am sure that some of the stuff I was keeping was thrown out.

Yeah Simon, got a bit of water. http://www.rollaclub.com/board/topic/47959-warning-flash-flooding-toowoombaipswich/page__view__findpost__p__494865

Jase, He actually said that he wished that they would put tv back to normal so he could watch something other then floods.

Out of everything, that made me laugh the most, I was almost having a fit from laughing so much but I really needed it.

Just thought I would put this up to say a personal big thanks to everyone on rollaclub, I have been innundated with sms's, calls and PM's from people willing to lend assistance in anyway possible and it isn't just from the locals, this extends right over to WA (67rolla-ken), I am glad to see that this place is still a close knit community and that everyone is just willing to reach in and lend a hand. THANKS GUYS AND GIRLS.

I went out and got some mobile interwebs so I can look for housing so I will only post a couple of pics. Here is the pic, someone thought that optus was garbage... My bike and parts: My bike should be ok, just gotta clean all the oil/water mix out and hopefully the diesel does the job, I am just a bit worried about the clutch. The 4age that is going into the sedan, I think I will re build it though but I put diesel in it as an anti rust agent.

Dougy told me the other day when I was on the phone to him, sorry to hear.

Sorry to hear, There was a guy on my facebook the other day that I think was from Vic (I think he may be a member here) complaining that all he hears or sees now is the qld floods, I posted and said we atleast you know what is coming to you. If you are reading this then maybe now you will understand what it is like you inconsiderate prick.

Went and seen Mick and Megan yesterday at the shop, they had already cleaned up and I think were fixing flood damaged cars, your engine will be fine if you pull the plugs out, spray copious amounts of crc in it and turn it over by hand, you will also have to flush the oil internals of the engine before the rust sets in. Good to see you are ok Ben, I went and seen corollaparts69 yesterday and he has lost 99.9% of his contents, the roof in one of the bedrooms was collapsed and there was thick mud everywhere (more then I had 200m up the road). Ben, this flood was nowhere near the 74 flood level, we got to 18.2m at mogill and the house across from us went under in 74, this time it was level with the floor boards, I am glad that it didn't peak another 2-3 meters like it was meant to. All I can say is that it stinks but oxley and rocklea are worse. Thanks for the offer Ben but I managed to grab my laptop when we did the evac, if you have a spare monitor and keyboard handy then I am sure that Joe (corollaparts69) would love to borrow them for a while, thankfully he grabbed his tower. Also anyone that is interested in helping Joe his number is: 0413960696

Was actually funny to hear wally say he is too fat to float away. I had the seca and the sedan out, Luckily I managed to get a trade plate off my mate on the tuesday to take the car to work so I have the 2 cars. I started the cleanup (throwout) today, was upsetting to have to throw out stuff that I have held onto for nearly 20 years, I had to throw out all of my car magazines but I am hoping that my toyota books dry out. I am now also living at my dads as I was about to kill the c**t that lives with my mum as all he could think of was himself, I lost my whole house, he lost SFA as the water upstairs was knee deep, the only thing I seen that he had to get rid of was the sofa bed that we had downstairs for a bed, I was getting all my stuff out and putting it in the carport, the story is long and I really don't wanna get into it. Also, I am not the only one on here that has lost everything, Joe (Skip) or corollaparts69 on here is about 200m away from me but closer to the river and I was told by dad that he had no time to get anything out, I went there before and his AW11 out the front was still under water, I am trying to get a hold of him to organise a cleanup but his mobile is unreachable, all I know is that he is staying on Alice street with his friend sister so when I hear anything then I will let you know.

f@$k no, my mower runs good and it was 3m under :P

I would like to send a big thanks to everyone that has sms'd me, called me, replied or PM'd me to give me good luck and to lend a hand, you don't know how warm that makes it feel (having a teary writing this), I went down to my house at about lunch time this morning and just got out of the car and cried while I gave my mum a hug as I could not believe what I could see, I spent a fair bit of time in the street opposite the house just sitting there watching the water and having a good talk to the neighbours, I am currently on my sisters net & computer so I will only post one pic of the house of a before and after but will do a big upload once I get back home, whenever that is. Sorry if the pics are big, dunno how to resize them on my sisters computer. I live in the yellow house to the right of the power pole. Home Before: Home After (note that I live downstairs and my mum lives upstairs): Tonight the water started going down, I am hopeful that it is the water receeding but I am sure that it is only the tide.

Thanks guys. The wivenhoe dam was at 185% last night and they had no choice but to release 600,000+ megalitres daily of water from the gates. My house is now under which is very upsetting as yesterday I grabbed stuff that would of been affecte if we had an 18m flood which was predicted, now my bike, fridge, washing machine, kids health records and baby details books, sons first school bag an stuff for school, my 4age (on stand), all my toyota mechanical books, my limited editition gamecube, xbox 1 (I could sit here all day) are all going to be f@$ked, it is going to be very depressing to go through it all and throwing it away. Thing that really shits me is that I have only just finished paying off my fridge, there is another 2000 bucks that I don't have.

Bearings/bush & seals don't disturb the balance, putting the compressor wheel or turbine wheel on in a different spot will upset it.
-
I am back from a failed car tow at Rocklea which has left dads truck hydrolocked and stuck in the Lindsay Bros depot, was fun to walk through water up to my armpits, I don't have time right now to upload pics and what not as I have come home to get a few more things and go to higher ground since the Police were here earlier to say evacuate so I will talk to you guys when I can get back.

Creek is currently lower then it was but the river is the highest I have ever seen and we are still waiting on the lockyer creek downpour. Pics to come.
-
That is a multi purpose oil though, most dealerships and even field service use it.
-
I am currently evacuating, filling up the red sedan and taking it to my dads as I am in the flood zone.

Car left on saturday, forgot to get pics. Here are the clutch pics you wanted Ev (570ZX). (top from master, right to slave, left to bleeder) (top bleeder) (slave *DUH* bleeder) Also then has a bleeder on the master. The 570 is coming along nicely, got an electric power steering pump for it from a late model astra, mod plate should be going on today (if we can get to work) and the small block filter head should be coming. Also got bored on saturday arvo so I attacked the work ute with work :laff:

Bit late but have been meaning to post it for ages, not this 86 here is it (different wheels obviously).
