  1. Are you sure? Isn't the 4AGZE flywheel the same as the smallport flywheel (the bigger of the 2 types that came with 4AGE's). If so, I'm using the smallport flywheel and it fits in my T50 bellhousing...
  2. Wow, they look like they've been to the bottom of the ocean and back :) And no, cutting your springs won't make them softer, but they'll be lower and just as soft, which is usually not a good thing.
  3. Hehe, not quite. It's basically like a Unichip, it interceps signals from sensors and modifies them and passes the new values to the computer.
  4. Or just get spring clamps, that's pretty cheap too, and then you can raise or lower your car as required :)
  5. I feel like trying out the Jaycar piggyback system :)
  6. ... and put big blocks of wood in front of the front tyres :P
  7. ... and can go through all 7 gears before getting to the end of the quarter mile!!!!
  8. Sorry if that came across wrong, I didn't imply that. You did ask "if those mods will achieve wheel spin". And the simple answer is - it depends. Assuming it achieves 60kw atw (and I don't know if it will, it may, it may not), will it achieve wheel spin with cheapo tyres? Most definately. My car is apparently pushing 69hp atw, and it pulls massive wheel spin with my el-scorcho motorkhana tyres, wet or dry. It will pull massive skids too, wet or dry. In fact it's just about impossible to not drive sideways in the wet with them on. Will it achieve wheel spin with semi slicks? Probably not unless you tried really hard, and even then you'd probably just chirp them. With my 69hp, once my semi slicks are warm I can barely chirp them. So no, I wasn't implying that you were some young noob who didn't know anything better, I was simply giving you an answer from a different perspective.
  9. Cheapest way to do a burnout? Get crap tyres. That way you get to spend LESS money and make your car LOOK faster :P
  10. yes, and yes! :P
  11. I've made a few nice shiny chunky noises trying to shift into reverse from 5th a few times since I got the short shift kit, keep missing 4th :P Am more used to it now though, doesn't happen too often anymore...
  12. Besides, why buy it now? By the time you get the car on the road, you'll be able to get much nicer fancier stuff with the same amount of money.
  13. Umm... I don't think any rwd celicas are 4x100. TA22's are 4x114.3.
  14. So you want cheap, you want good sound, and you want MP3. Not asking much are you? I'd stay away from Sony, but that's just my personal opinion. For that budget have a look at what JVC have to offer.
  15. I've got one KE35 door and one KE55 door, maybe I should go look for another good KE35 door :P
  16. Actually, just thought about it - if you really want Bluey to lose some weight, look for some KE35 doors. They weigh about half as much as KE55 ones...
  17. Mmm, Wayno did a pretty good job of that lip didn't he? Wow :P Maybe I should start chipping out body deadener again, I've been slack. I've done bits and pieces of my floor and bits and pieces off the transmission tunnel, but a lot still remains... Nice work, Rob :) Can't wait to see it all in red ;)
  18. Few things about your killswitch. 1) It's best put somewhere within reach of the driver, while strapped in. I guess that isn't so important in a daily driver sort of car, but it's still best in the cabin somewhere. After all that's when you want to kill the power - when you crash and burn somewhere. You don't have to want to get out of the car and pop the bonnet... 2) Make sure you heavily insulate those terminals on the back of the killswitch. It even sparks through thin layers of electrical tape. 3) I'd be inclined to run the cable IN the engine bay instead of in the wheelwell, unless you had either big insulation around the cable, or had something to protect the cable... 4) Nice work, otherwise :P
  19. You don't "bowl" at disco bowling. You just hurl the ball in the general direction of the pins, cause you can't see the dots or the arrows or anything on the lanes!!!
  20. Or use http://www.fotki.com I've used them for a few years now, they're excellent. You can get a 10Mb (?) free account, or you can pay for an unlimited account with more features.
  21. hahahaa... See, if you have a small body it makes your head look big. The same theory can apply to other things too :P ... like hands, or feet ... and I have small hands and feet :)
  22. Yes, and no I didn't make 200hp. I believe a "redcliffe-dyno-reading" would be about 95hp atw. And where did you hear that 200hp is "easy" for any 4AGE? 150hp maybe, but 200hp is a pretty big number. Not impossible, but not all that easy either.
  23. Bah, who needs proportion :P
  24. Haha, that's so wrong, a KE25 that handles better than an AWD car... But anything's possible! :P
  25. I'm short, makes the rest of me look big :P
