  1. Going by the Gregory's manual - Slipping or rough in up-shift Incorrectly adjusted throttle linkage. Incorrectly adjusted kick down valve control linkage. Slipping at all speeds Low fluid level in transmission. Incorrect transmission fluid in unit. Incorrectly adjusted shift lever Apart from that, it could be that the band needs to be tightened. If you need a hand tomorrow, i'm free.
  2. For the front bumper bar use a ke30 and chop it up so it looks like the same type used on the Mk1 Escort. Little bumperets.
  3. Cool, cheers for the warning. I should be able to find something else to curb the withdrawals during the time.
  4. I think plan B would have to be the easiest, but you'll have no sunroof - must have sunroof And from what i know of roof conversions and such (plan C), the cuts have to be right on the money and not a somewhere close cut is good enough. And your talking about swapping one roof, above the pillars, from one car to another car. Thats going to be a shut load of measuring, re-measuring and re-re-measuring between both cars. Plan D you could visit the wreckers for another roof, cut that one on the pillars and it'll be one less step that you'll have to worry about. Plus you have a sunroof.....
  5. Its a lancer motor - 4g69 without the mivec head. Besides its the diesel model, which runs its own "designed" and built motor
  6. But when you think about it, the bags won't go off under 30kph and i'd imagine that kind of damage would have to have been at highway speeds and not typical town speeds. Unless it involved a truck. See how the body had been torn off the chassis rails. It had to have gone under something, like a semi-trailer. Thinking about it and most trucks have a bumper bar or bullbar down low to stop a car from submarining under the truck.
  7. xv10 camry wide body for the 5s motor and the st141 for the gearbox. Too easy :nervous:

  10. V240 pretty good for a vehicle with only a two star crash rating
  11. Yep your not wrong. Figured out what the vehicle is ?? Your not wrong. One movie/doco that you'll want to watch again.
  12. It can due to a calcium buildup on a plate in one of the cells that stops that cell from holding a charge. You can get "battery zappers". Like a battery charger, it just hits the battery with a higher then normal voltage (or is it amps, i can never remember) that'll burn off the buildup and hopefully return the battery back to normal. Came across this just before. Wasn't able to get much info apart from the ute was doing over a 100 and head on into a truck. Makes you think
  13. At a guess i'd say at least one of the cells is stuffed.
  14. Don't worry i figured that :P Depends on what you class as bad :hmm:
  15. Yeah the carpark's a fair size. But that cafe is "The fishermans basket", bit average (or below average) on the seafood and chips. Nar i'd give that one a miss. Sunday should be ok for parking but the cops keep a watch on the spot on the weekends etc for "hoon" behavior. I'd go with Brendan's idea myself.
  16. LoCash Cowboys - Here comes summer......

  21. Sorry to say mate but the link is dead. If you've got a backup of it or something and i'll see about putting it up in the FAQ Edit - Doh, i just breezed over your first sentence and went straight to the link. Anywhat, i found googles cache of it, but only the first and second post so i'm missing the wiring side of it.
