  1. This is in a ke55 with a ke50 crash pad, but the concept is still the same. You firstly have to remove the glove box, gauge cluster, etc from the dash. And then you'll need a 10mm socket to remove the crash pad and the dash. And then its a phillips screwdriver to remove the hidden screws from the crash pad that holds the dash to it. There might be an easier way but thats how i did it when i had a ke55. Ke30 would be about the same.
  2. Hang on I just spotted the car
  3. :hmm: i think your going to have to sell more then just the mr2 for that. Unless its high mileage or something else is wrong, but in either case the daily upkeep will pretty high. But to me it looks as if its pretty exotic so you'll stung two fold - high purchase price and a high daily upkeep.
  4. ? ? ?
  5. The trusty 186 would fit in there :P
  6. Suzuki G13B twincam .
  7. Open a new tab / page. Goto googles main page type in "Do a barrel roll" Any others ?
  8. Go the liteace van. 16" mags 195's on the front 225's on the back bagged side pipes both sides change the rear tailgate from a lift up style to barn doors maybe weld up the side door. Think it'd be too wide for it to be like a normal door.

  11. Two door sedan. And 'ere i was making An ass of you and me by assuming you was talking about the ke30 two door sedan (aka the tudor) The ke35 could be described as either a coupe or more commonly a hardtop cause it doesn't have a B-pillar and a frame around the door windows.
  12. If its the tudor
  13. Whats it for, concourse events or just a daily driver ?
  14. If you have a search through the ride threads one of the guys is running a 7k in his '55 (7k Corolla or something). I'm pretty sure i remember him writing that he would have liked to use the 7k's gearbox but the mount for the g'box was at the top of the box and not on the bottom like normal. So he had to use a K-series box till he was able to find a W-K bellhousing. That way he was able to use a w50 g'box or one of the other W boxes. Keeping it all simple, just use a k50 g'box from a '55. You could use one from a ke70 but the shifter sits further back and possible be too close to the handbrake.
  15. From what i've read about the DBW its for emissions and smoother throttle control/response. Our lancer has it, when i had the old ke30 i could notice the difference between them, its the same thing with the father-inlaws astra. Hard to explain but there's no, urm, edgyness (harshness) on the lancers throttle. And on the plus side of the DBW is that when the cruise control is set the speed stays more or less the same on the flats, up a slope and down a slope there's very little, if any, run-away on the speed of the car. The cars i've driven that had cruise would run-away on a downwards slope which would mean i'd have to do some braking and in turn cancelling the cruise control.
  16. Yeah it would be interesting to see Clarkson in the drivers seat and what he makes of it. I'd be pretty sure the Hamster would drool over it. James May wouldn't like it and more then likely think its a teenagers wet dream. While the Stig would thinks a ........ Well really the Stig wouldn't say anything, just kick a tire and walk off.
  17. We've got one of them, but its the sti version.
  18. I don't know if its a bug or not but i added someone onto my ignored users list and i'm still getting emails when the said person makes a reply to a topic. Is this normal cause i was really hoping that by placing them on the ignored users list i'd be getting nothing from them.
  19. For you my good sir the road along Somerset Dam ( Coal Creek Road ?) from Kilcoy to Esk and then the road from Esk to Hampton (Esk-Hampton Road or Redbank Road as its called). Nice and twisty. As dave said the highway is pretty dull and boring, but it does give a straight run up.
  20. Ignored Users List ke11restorerWill update when all is well and we're happy little hippies in the world of today
  21. Jumped onto the Dog and Lemon Guide to have a look for a couple of reviews on a few vehicles. The sods don't print the book any more. And its 10 bucks for three reviews, 20 bucks for eight reviews or 30 bucks for 15 reviews. The book wasn't too bad but for the money i hope the reviews are better.
  22. See how i/we go. Count us in, so far so good
  23. <Rolls eyes whilst donning flame suit>
  24. Hehehe :poke:  Big Dads pies at Freedom fuels in Withcott is about the only pie shop i can think of. I'm pretty sure its still there, but we tend to bypass the place cause we don't like filling up on the ethanol fuels.
