  1. Same, i just sold mine.
  2. I'll put down as being interested
  3. Ok i'll have another go. I'm having a look in the genuine parts catalog this time. No. 1 - KE20 the part number would be 7208-81551 (RH) and 7208-81561 (LH) No. 2 - I still think its a wagon or van. No. 3 - TE51 ? Celica ?? No. 6 - Carina ? The only problem is, is that the book i have only goes between the E2x, KE3x and TE47 models I'm wondering if the other lights could be something like corona or one of the other C's
  4. #2 Makes me think wagon or van, maybe Mazda. #3 Mazda rx3 savanna ?
  5. Mine kinda creaks a lot :glare: So there's no fine noise from them...
  6. I don't mess with the ke70's so.... But what i do is of fixing the photos, hope you don't mind. My thoughts would be yes. But can you get a pair of needle nose pliers in there ? If you want to post some photos use the full editor and below the section where you write is a section for attachments. Use that for posting pictures, it tends to be a lot better then Image shack and the others.
  7. That ones a keeper  :lolcry:
  8. Oh well we're out Again :( Ambers grand-folk have decided their going to come up from wagga for a week or 2 or 4
  9. I was updating the wiki today and and i came across this. http://datsun1200.com/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?post_id=318349#forumpost318349 I know it says about the VW ones, but would you be able to get just the one new a12 push rod ? And then get them turned down to the right size. Or just maybe do the 5k push rods.
  10. On a serious note. We've got thick fog around my end of town at the moment so just how difficult is it to turn the damn head lights on. It also doesn't give a person the ability to do something like 70 through a school zone. Heard on the radio yesterday as i was making my way past an accident that toowoomba ranked something around the top three towns in queensland as the safest places to drive. Yeah some how the typical indian driver in this town are missed. Like WTF
  11. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CVS1UfCfxlU :poke:
  12. Oh god no don't that, it might do bad things.....
  13. Freight ? At a guess under a hundred. Lifters are the same, but the push rods are different - 4k are longer.
  14. Good chance it won't spark. Problem with the coil ?
  15. Bar-tard The guy at H and B wouldn't even take a kilo off mine :(
  16. I've got one in bits. Just missing the lifters and push rods.
  17. Oh god damn it :paperbag: Just measured the 3k ones i have and their 175mm. When i can i'll update the Wiki with the info.
  18. Ah your just make it sound complicated :P But in all seriousness it would be the better option, if its available to you.
  19. Have you tried a oil flush, drain and filter change ? Otherwise its thicker oi Edit - if you drop into an auto shop you can also get "worn engine" oil. Basically its just simply thicker oil but with extra additives for a motor thats getting a bit long in the tooth.
  20. I just love it how they go into debt and yet we have to pay for it
  21. Thats cool just make sure you dial in the cam before putting the head on :P
  22. That was a Porsche but :P:
  23. Yeah get the head back on first and check the lengths before going too far.
  24. Its a toyota its running a k motor two outa three ain't bad... welcome to the crowd
  25. Did you ground the HT lead that goes from the coil to the cap ? Can cause problems for the electronics if you don't. Good chance the exhaust is stuffed in one or another. Stuffed exhaust gasket or stuffed exhaust pipe and thats pulling the fuel start through from the carby and causing the high fuel consumption.
