Sorry man but i find that funny. Which is why i'll never own a road scrapping car. But it does remind me of one place where i use to work the companies management put in a speed hump about double the normal height at the entrance to the staff carpark, it was nicknamed Mt Everest. One of the restaurant managers owned a lowered 300zx and he got stuck on it. Needless to say Mt Everest got chopped in half but it was still a bitch and a third to be forced over it. Mt Everest wasn't shaped like a normal speed hump, it was more shaped like a "U" but upside down.

This is how it should look like at the clutch fork There should be a cir-clip or something similar on the engine side of the bellhousing. It stops the cable from being pulling into the fork when ever the clutch pedal is depressed.

Do what Evan said and by pulling on the cable you'll also be able to see the clutch fork moving. The worst case scenario would be having to pull the g'box out cause something might have either been put in wrong or has come apart. Eg - the clutch plate is the wrong way around or the release bearing has come apart from the clutch fork.

Been there done that. But a part of the centrelink crap that i'm having to go through was of getting a referral from my GP for a hearing test. Needless to say i had to pull the 160 from my credit card only to be told that i have prefect hearing. The doc was WTF cause he even knows i have hearing problems... Anywho, went out get some tires today and on the way back home a set of traffic lights changed to red so i did the normal thing and took my foot off the gas and started to coast up to the lights. The car behind me didn't like the idea so it pulled into the other lane and sped off up to the lights and only then did it hit on the braked. The driver tried to abuse me cause i didn't race up to the lights or something, didn't take much notice cause by the time i got to the lights they had changed back to green again. I swear half of this town drink from the fountain of stupidity.

:yes: i'd love to see that little tosser thrown off the streets. But a part from that i'd also like to know where the P platers drinking fountain of stupidity is at the moment so it can be plugged. Today in going over to Nerfbats place, every single P plater that i came across was nothing but an idiot. From trying to overtake me as i was entering a roundabout to having some tool trying to drive over the top of me. Had to do a bit of shopping this arvo and some idiot tried to cut me off in a roundabout, didn't make it so instead he was trying to pass me while we had on coming traffic. Finely got rid of him at a set of lights, i went straight and he made a right turn into on coming traffic. Still can't believe how he didn't get t-boned.

I'll tell you what they taste like early next week :P
