The two speed auto uses a rod from the auto up to the carby. It connects to the same place where the throttle cable goes on the carby.
Its how i use to run the two speed in the '30 before i swapped it out for a manual.
It's French, you doink. Help me. Muh-aid-ay. Everywhere I look reminds me of food. Look at these books - Charles Lamb, Herman Wok, the complete works of Sir Francis Bacon, Eric Van Lustbader
I'm running an early 3k carby (pre-emissions) on my 5k. I reckon its given better fuel economy and a touch in power.
But then again my 5k is more or less stock a part from the extractors and 2" exhaust.
I once rode in the back of a cop car for the fun of it.
And talking about night clubs, I once pinched some random chick on the arse, she span around looked at me and punched a mate in the chops. The whole WTF expression on his face just made mine and another mates night. To this day he still doesnt know why he got punched.
Once a upon time that 50 would have given about 10 burbon & cokes, 2 600ml bottles of coke to sober up on and a feed of chips & a pie.
100 bucks would have had me pissing it up in the ladies :P
I just got off the phone from some guy from "tech support" or something. "We're getting reports that your computer is infected..... and blah blah blah."
I asked him where he was located "I'm located at Sydney."
So whats the tram service over the story bridge like these days ??
"Pretty good"
:rolls:
Anywhats, i just let the guy run with it and he gave me a web site to goto and download a program (A remote server)
I don't think he liked it all that much when i told him i had googled the site first....
ammyy dot com
and then proceeded to read out this one Ammyy scam to him.
And for some reason he asked how many other people live with me....
So i replied "A wife and two boy friends"
He came back with some gibberish of wife only or something, i had just started to aski what he said
Dirty bastard hung up on me
PHUUUUUCK YOU :lolcry:
I'm fanging for them to call back :P
Watched an episode of top gear last night, one with the porsches. At the nend old Clarkson scarped his and converted the front seats into lounge chairs and made the v8 block into a coffee table, very very cool i thought.
Crack the delco open and you'll find a couple of the IC's lifted from the board.
The last time i visited a night club i got totally legless and wound up having a pee in a sink in the womens toilet. Never been since.
Oh wait, that should have gone into the confession's thread
Its for the fan to help keep the cylinders cool. Think of the upright fan thats used in the old beetle. GM just laid the fan down over the cylinders to keep the profile low.
I'd more think the spare was placed there cause it was about the only available space. Subaru did the same trick with their old Leon.
Nar, just wait till you crack one into the pan cook it up. While it might look like a fried egg, it tastes more like blood and meat
My cravings for egg has died in the arse again.
Compression test, check the radiator for bubbles/ exhaust smell and have a look under the oil cap for any milk coloured oil to make sure its not a blown gasket.
I'd take it out onto the open road, after the compression test was good and give it a good flogging to burn the carbon out of the motor.
And if that doesn't work it could be a burnt valve.
A vacuum leak would have the idle just drifting up and down (the same can be said for fuel mixture) not sounding like a missed spark ignition.
And here i was hanging for some bacon and eggs. So amber cracked an egg for me and it turned out to be a double yoker with lots of blood.
Now i don't know if i'm still hungry for an egg but i'm sure as still fanging for that bacon :P
