And so here's Amber and I thinking that since we're pretty well free and clear of most of our debt we'll get a new tv, couple of extra power points and extra lights for around the house and bank the rest of the kids tax money. We jumped through their hoops, we rang them when something changed in our pays, filled in the paperwork they gave us to fill in and pulled sickies when they forced us to go in to see them. Generally made sure we towed the expected line. Amber rung up centrelink to tell them that we've both lodged our tax forms, so we can get kids tax money. "No, sorry but you can't cause of our stuff up you have been overpaid and we now want the money back." WTF :blinks: "Yes, i'd like to know that as well cause it says here that the both of you earned a combined total of over 100 thousand dollars last tax bracket and it also states here that rob was full time working while claiming centrelink." WTF :blinks: "Oh, hang on someone here has royally stuffed up. We want the money payed back and sorry to tell you but your heads are on the chopping block cause of it." WTF :blinks: "Yes i know it was our fault but we can't be held accountable for it."

The early ke30 vents are metal and yes they are a, almost, direct bolt on to a ke55 (the bolt holes in the '55 are a bigger diameter then the '30).

Yep, just as easy as that. Don't really have to swap valve train stuff over. But in saying that, there is a few different 3k heads, but in simple terms there's the early heads and the late heads. The late version head is the one to go for, cause of alloy pedestals (instead of cast iron), better valve stems and oil seals. For the head gasket i'd just go 4k, the 3k is the same anyways. If your planning on fixing the 3k head it'd be ideal to work out what vehicle the head came from before getting a valve regrind kit. cause the valve stems and seals are different. But if your going to get the head machined firstly, get them to also replace the stems with ones for a ke70 4k head, their the better ones.

Can't agree more Dave with supercheap. I only really go in to the one near home now for a look see and a perv. For a face to face i've found Bursons is the go. Other then that its online. This damn toowoomba weather is pissing me off. If i had enough band aids i'd cut myself off at the neck, every single bloody joint below is aching. Phuck you Mother Nature your nothing but a cold-heartless bitch.

I have been shot in the head with a nail gun and i still wouldn't own one. I'd sooner own the FJ Cruiser and since its been in production for about 10 years or so over in the states the aftermarket should be pretty good.

I don't know what you're talking about, baby, but it's making me horny! If I said you had a beautiful body, would you hold it against me? - Austin Powers And for us old farts "Upside down miss Jane!"

Toss bombing is one thing. You think your all nice and safe under cover from the pigeons with their toss bombing runs. But then from the corner of your eye you see one coming in low under the awning heading straight for the table straight at you. You think "Oh crap" so you start to duck and spot just as it crosses the table, a blob of white and grey stuff eject from its underbelly and with a boing boing boing it gets you in the eye. Live in fear people when the pigeon learns the bouncing bomb technique.....

Super-meow-troopers Mac - All right, how about "Cat Game?" Foster - Cat Game? What's the record? Mac - Thorny did six, but I think you can do ten. Foster - Ten? Starting right 'meow?'

Steel ? Yep. The main difference between a cheap and expensive welder can be summed up by what it can do and can't do. Cheap = basic, an on/off switch, a switch for minimum/maximum amps, a dial for the spool speed and no gas. Basic, easy to setup and use, pretty much sums what a typical home handyman will want. Something that can be thrown in the cardboard to breed cobwebs. Expensive = microprocessors and all the gauges, switches and dials you'd need for welding different types and thicknesses of metal . And these things also take the big 15kg rolls of wire. The other difference can be the spare parts. A cheap welder you'll more then likely only be able to buy just the disposable parts (Tips and nozzles), but that does depend on the brand. Where as the expensive one will have the spare parts range to cover the whole thing. One overlooked thing is the duty cycle of the welder - a cheap one will have a short cycle. Use for a minute or five and off for about five or so minutes for it to cool down before getting back to it. Typical handyman style. - expensive will have a long duty cycle. Use it for good while and off for a couple of minutes before back into it. These things are fan-forced and what not. As for picking one out, it'll come down to what you want it for and just how much use it'll get. For a good start look at one that can do both gas and gasless and can take 0.8mm tips for welding car panels. The one i nicked from my dad is a gasless, its ok but it'll be a lot better if it could take the bottle. Make sure you also get one of those auto-darkening helmets, you'll never look at a flip-lid thing again.
